After getting the Unseen University Cut-out book I realized this would be awesome in Lego. So I started out building the boathouse but that didn't work out. Instead I put effort in Modo's garden shed and it worked out well. This took me about two weeks in the evenings to build. Being halfway there and starting over again and so on. I had to do some consession because it is impossible to get exactly to scale. I am planning on doing all the other buildings but it will take a long time as it is a huge build. So don't be dissapointed if they are not up next week. But here it is: View from the river. This side will connect to the High Energy Magic building via the technic pin. The outside with Rincewind to show the scale. The inside. Modo stands in front of his shed. Top view. The tower will connect to the Library and used up a lot of hinge bricks to make it sturdy. here it is on Brickshelf and on MOCpages

Okay, thanks for the cultural and history lesson. Always nice to know I think. Now I can impress whatever Swede I meet. And just being Swedish would do it for a lot of us as well.

The first military use of Swamp dragons I see on the web. But I don't think it will be much of a succes as most of Leonard da Quirm's inventions tend the blow up in his own face. And yes, that is meant litteraly.

I have had the same dillema last year. What to buy and what not. The real simple one was the CW sets. I don't like the cartoony minifigs so that was an instant no-go. Then the PT and OT sets. I started out buying everything I could my hands on. Untill a certain period in time where there simply were to many sets lefty I didn't have and other priorities prefaled. So I made the decission to only buy OT sets I really like because I have to enjoy and control my hobby and not the other way around. It also saves on pressious shelf-space in my hobby room. And it left me with time and money the get other interesting sets from other themes. But that just my story, you have to make up your own mind. Good luck.
