Rincewind and the Luggage
Thanks for the kind replies. Unfortunately Lego doesn't do short beards. I tend to make the figures as pictured on the covers of the English paperbacks, mainly made by Josh Kirby. On those Rincewind is shown as an older wiz(z)ard. In most of the comics he is younger, so there is a choise for everyone. Looking forward to seeing your creations. Up next is the Patrician and I'm working on the beggars guild

What's in a name ???
L-space stands for Library space. It is the term used in the Discworld books to represent the connection between all the libraries in the known and unknown universe. And since I am a big fan of the books and I allready have a Dutch website about the Discworld under that name it was an easy pick.

Brickworld SigFig picture 2009
This is a great idea and I'd love to be in. This is my sigfig not to be confused with my avatar which is a normal Emperial Guard. You probably don't have the Ankh-Morpork flag but i can live with that.

Queen Mary 2
I don't know if it is the greatest MOC ever. Literally probably yes. However it still is a great achievement building something this size. The newspaper clipping says it took them 12.000 working hours to complete. If it only took the two men mentioned in the clipping that equals to 750 building days in total.

If you could revive any one dead theme...
I have to go for Adventurers. A great opportunity to expand the Orient Expedition to others parts of the world. I know they did South America and Egypt but not in the way they did Orient with the game interwoven in the whole experience. that is what topped it off for me.

Star Wars license discussion
I think they will renew the license for at least a couple of years. Especially with the new live action series coming up next year. It has turned out a profit for both companies, so no stop unless it drops. But with so many hardcore fans that will not happen soon.

How did you find Eurobricks?
How coincidental, I had the same experience, I couldn't join because of my free e-mail adress and decided to look around some more. Then eurobricks was most appealing and after a long tome of lurking I wanted to jump in a discussion and joined to do so.

Death and Death-of-rats
Here are the first results of my work on the Discworld characters. Death and Death-of-rats Death has been made from a Star Wars torso, black legs, black cape and hood with standard skull head. Death-of-rats is an standing rat 'Scabbers', with cut-of cape (about 8mm, 1/3 inch) and an ice pick. Binky is a white horse. Brickshelf folder Enjoy.

Discworld fans wanted...
I saw your topic and that's what got me started on the Discworld. Your Death looks almost the same as mine. I only have a different scythe and Binky doesn't have a saddle, simply because I dont have the correct colour. Amazing how great minds think alike Correct, Death is made of bones aka a skeleton. However he also wears a robe so you can only see his head, feet and hands. That is why I decided to go for a black torso, with a robe pattern. He should be taller indeed. So I will go and attach a 1x1 piece to his feet.

Bakery MOC for Medieval Marketplace
A really nice design that fits perfect in the village. Always a surprise what comes out with limited bricks, but looks like it was designed from unlimited resources. and that's what counts.

Discworld fans wanted...
Great. I have my Captain Carrot in a bricklink order so I cannot show it. But I'm looking forward to seeing yours. Didn't think of Leonard untill you mentioned him. But of course he is an inspring character. And he should be in. And Cohen should be nice to see. Peppermint wanted to do something from The Last Hero, so lets compare your Cohens when your both ready.
