I just got mail! the Harry Potter set 4709 with some extras. Now of to start on my Unseen University project. Unfortunately it will take a long time. I still need at least two Hogwarths (4709 and 5378) to get it to a good start.
  2. Thanks for the review and I have to agree. This is a great set. With lots of playability when playing the game and a great start for some serious MOC-ing. Beware when taking the game to the next level by combining it with the other sets. It may take longer then you reconned for....

This is how it is displayed: so there's the other baseplate, and with the AT-ST overhead.
  4. L-space posted a post in a topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hello all, last year I got tired of my 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer and decided to put the pieces to good use. ( I also have the UCS, so that was a no-brainner which one to take apart ) Because at that time the first rumours of the Endor set started to appear I decided that building my own was I good way to spend my bricks. I added a green baseplate, some tan and leftover greens and this is the result: The mood picture It features three little scenes: 1. Princess Leia and Han Solo trying to get in. R2 is on the move to give it a try. 2. Chewbacca apprehending an AT-ST driver (the AT-ST is in the diorama that is sitting next to this one in my display case). 3. 3-CPO being caught by an Imperial trooper. The tree is from the Speeder Bikes set 7128 the rest is in the diorama next to it, as well. The roof folds open using the same hinges is in the 6211 and opens up the view on two armoured doors. more in the brickshelf folder. Enjoy
  5. Winners congratulations on these powerminers. note to me: better luck next time.
  6. It keeps getter better and better. The Endor battle looks great, machinery and control centre to raid, walls to blow up and doors to close On Hoth there will be fierce battle, I really like the heavy Snowtrooper gun, the best yet. Good one TLC
  7. L-space replied to achris's post in a topic in LEGO Licensed
Lets hope they will add more films to the license. Maybe all the classics as well; sleeping beauty, snowwhite etc. That could be some awesome casstle sets.
  8. Incredible, this AT-OT and LAAT could be the set getting me back in the PT. But I'm strong. I know, think, hope.
  9. I did a small comparison between the minifig scaled ones 8017 and 4504 and they (mid scale) seem to be in scale.
  10. Well I really don't understand the problems with the MF. Not all LEGO has minifigs, it has been like that for a long time. And in this size it will make a great addition to the whole line of MF's ranging from mini to huge. So in my opinion it's welcome. And if you don't like it don't buy it and TLC will stop producing them; problem solved.
  11. WARNING; may contain nuts Well after a week thinking about joining, I finally finished my entry. "Music with Rocks in it" based upon the backcover of sir Terry Pratchett's Soul Music it features the Librarian (Be ware: urangatan, not a monkey) playing the piano, a troll playing drums, our hero on the leadguitar and supported by a horn. it may look simple, but you try finding the missing pieces when all is packed for the movers being chased around by your wife; "why are you doing this NOW?"

If you see it is being sold as a regualr set you can report them to e-bay. It would count as fraud then and will be taken down. But you can always report it to e-bay. If they think it is wrong they'll take it down. At least you will have tried to do something about it.
  13. L-space replied to Kikuichimonji's post in a topic in Community
I have been very lucky. An e-bay purchase of assorted bricks (5kg) contained 7126 and 8007 complete. And some ninja stuff and probably some more sets. But it will take time to sort it all. To my surprise I really like the C-3PO for some reason it didn't appeal to me on paper but in real life its rather adorable.
  14. I think it is upcoming weekend.

  16. L-space replied to Capt. Kirk's post in a topic in LEGO Pirates
Well, I can see aristocrats, judges and governors in the future with these wigs. aristocrats to be robbed judges to be hunted down governors to steel from the King and with daughters that can be "freed"by the hansom hero so I say: "bring 'm on"
  17. This looks like a great addition to me. Can't wait to get my hands on those Mon Calamaris
  18. Sandy congratuliations
  19. Yes I do thanks very much. I hope I can show the result soon. As soon as I get them on correctly that is. thanks again.

only one thing I can say: RESPECT
  21. L-space replied to ybeline's post in a topic in LEGO Star Wars
No it isn't. this set is from the good ol' days when print was still an ecomic possibility. And thanks for the review ybeline Personally I think this is a set that could be updated by TLG. I know we also had the imperial inspection but that ship is the same besides two or three parts.
  22. L-space replied to Lars's post in a topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very nice work indeed. I'm looking forward to how it will compare to the new speederbikes in the Endor set. For now this is my favorite.
  23. Hello, my first MOC based on the Discworld. However I kinda ran out of inspiration. I'm waiting on a few Bricklink orders, the window lattices and the frame for the prison cel door, before I can finish it. And now I'm hoping for some feedback to make it better looking. Anything welcome! The interior will be kept as a surprise, but it will include an office for the CO and a work area for the resident Igor. Thanks.
  24. Again great work My favorite is the WW I; you took great opportunity to depict the early years of the war when most armies were still in there "old" uniforms. In The Great War every army eventually transformed to wearing some sort of camouflage. BTW when in Belgium visit Ypres, an opportunity the see the history of this war.
  25. Thanks for the tutorial Just in time for the new custom decals Tin7 is making me/ us.
