Which names? Ankh-Morpork is in the Discworld books written by sir Terry Pratchett. Guild of Perfumistas has been made up by me in style with the books. Triple Windmill is my own. The gear system has been put outside on purpose. I like it exposed and the more ugly bits are hidden inside. Indeed, three functions; grind flowers for their perfume, thumb rock and saw the wood.

A windmill on the walls of Ankh-Morpork. Working for the stonequarries, carpenters and the Guild of Perfumistas this mill has been strategicly placed on the walls to gain some extra hight in the city. video on flickr with all the functions: link I do have more ideas for the wall to expand so more will follow, sometime. more on flickr and brickshelf

Nice build. I like the base of the windmill, smart use of parts in that. I may have to remember that for my own windmill. You may want to change the scenery a bit since this type of windmill was most used to keep the polder dry. Or you just made the exception to the rule.

Very beautifully done. Love the scenes and the detailling.
  8. Thanks for the comments. It is hard to fit it all on to a 32x32 baseplate. And the map has to be functionable so some graphic representation is allowed.
  9. For my PADI Divemaster course I had to make an under water map. So I did it in the good old Diver style. UW-map 1 by L-space, on Flickr All foreign objects have been placed at their relative position. The steps make it deeper by 1 meter at a time. It represents part of the Nionplas or de Zandput near Raamsdonksveer, NLD.

Simply said: that is what the real life examples look like. You don't need much room to sleep but you do in the barn(side). Hay, supplies etc needs a lot of room.
