  1. Smashing designs, congratulations! I love the facades, and the interiors look absolutely spectacular, with great detail. They are a bit higher than the "standard" modulars, methinks, but that only adds to the diversity of the "skyline", in my opinion. Great builds!
  2. Wow, that is one beautiful modular, congratulations! The church looks wonderful with the high windows and entrance. And I absolutely adore that bakery as a side building. Great idea, tasteful colour scheme and a lovely build! (love your town, too)
  3. Cheers for the review. LEGO have done numerous city street cars over the years. This one is for me definitely the worst one, right next to the orange one in 60097. The yellow one in 60271 was nice, my favourite is still the blue one in 8404, partially because it resembles some of the dutch street cars so much. This is the one we use in our city. The red one in this set looks unfinished. The distance between the carts and the way they are connected are, in my opinion, ridiculous. Pity, because I like the platform, the kiosk and the minifigs.
  4. Nice one! I especially like the ground floor façade. Some tiles on the floors and we're away. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  5. Parisian Restaurant, Assembly square and Brick Bank are my favourites. Never understood why Detective's Office was that popular :-) Bottom of our list, together with Corner Garage.
  6. What a great build. I love the façade and the colour combinations. Interiors are great too. Would fit right in in our city! Keep clicking those bricks together!
  7. If I am not mistaken, mouseketeer is Inklingbricks on Flickr. I bought some instructions from them as well. They also had their own website ( www.inklingbricks.com), but that looks to be moved to amazon now, only containing books with instructions. I can't find the original place where one could buy the instructions anymore. If you recognise his work here, maybe you can contact him through Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/146006635@N03/albums
  8. That looks great! Reminds me of the Bburago models, they come in a similar box. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  9. I am not that enthusiastic about that either, but I don't think they'll go back to smiley faces. In fact, I think there is more chance LEGO will move from yellow faces to all these skin tones... The horror!
  10. There's something my wife and I liked about this set (except price and feeling, well, half-finished). The idea of a grocery store appealed to us. And we liked the colour scheme as well. So we bought three sets from Amazon (Netherlands) last year when they were 35% off. That made the price sort of fair. We started to see if we can combine the three sets into a modular this weekend (finally got around to it, they've been standing around long enough ).
  11. Love Seinfeld! My wife and I still watch it regularly. This scene is epic, and I recognised it immediately. "Medium crab bisque..." Keep clicking those bricks together!
  12. Great stuff, wonderful entries. Congratulations!
  13. This is another great design from you! The overall picture is great and I love the interiors. Keep clicking those bricks together! PS Finally received your Winter chalet last week; my wife and I can't wait to build it!
  14. This is lovely! I love the light aqua facade and the fact that the left building is at an angle. Internal details are great. Also, glass studio is a very creative and original idea! Would buy this in a second if it were a set. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  15. This looks lovely! Great improvement on the original, as far as I am concerned. Keep clicking those bricks together.
