LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
For the Slave 1, I actually think that it seems somewhat likely that they'd give us both in one set. It'd be pretty unique to offer in a UCS scale, but for such an iconic ship that has multiple versions, I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see that happen. That said, if LEGO does just go with one version, I'd say hands down it would be the OT version. And if that means getting 4-LOM and Zuckuss, I couldn't possibly be happier.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
I think that's a bit of an overreaction myself. The simple fact is, these sets haven't been released yet, that's the timeline, there you have it. Complaining that the sets aren't available before they're released is like complaining that the sun isn't up in the middle of the night. Things happen when they happen. I'm sure that there was either a logistical reason or a business reason for the release date of 1/30. I really fail to see how this makes LEGO suck. Incidentally, I was looking at the catalog myself, and I was noticing what appears to be a printed cockpit on the TIE Interceptor. Maybe it's my imagination or wishful thinking. Anyone care to give a second opinion?
- Star Wars sets anyone?

LEGO Star Wars 2009 Sets and Rumours
I just wanted to share some thoughts about the battle pack on the left. While I still think there is a good chance that this is a Hoth Rebel battle pack, I don't think that it's what we might be expecting. The figure in the front does appear to be a Rebel pilot, but the other figures in the background are the ones I can't figure out. The most logical figures to be in a Rebel Hoth battle pack would be either Rebel pilots or Hoth Rebels like the ones we've seen before in sets like the new Echo Base 7749 - both of which have white helmets. However, if you look at the figures in the background of that battle pack, they appear to have dark heads/upper bodies. So, as far as I can tell, we are either getting new versions of the Rebel pilots or Hoth Rebels, or this isn't a Hoth Rebel battle pack. Any thoughts? Are we getting new versions of those figures, or what else could those background figures be?

LEGO Star Wars 2009 Sets and Rumours
I don't think this is a hard and fast rule at all, though I wouldn't be surprised at all if these do turn out to be Hoth related sets. If it were true that something would need to be in two episodes to be included in a set, how did we get Commander Fox? While I agree that it does appear to be the case with most, if not everything else in the Clone Wars related sets, I don't think there is any such limitation on LEGO when deciding what to produce. My opinion personally is that these will be related to the Clone Wars, possibly from episodes that haven't aired yet, but who knows really. I think that appeal to buyers is what guides LEGOs decisions in what to produce, and by that regard, I think the cold assault Rex sounds like a fantastic choice. Rex is one of the key characters of the series. (Although I'd be shocked to see a main character in a battle pack - which is why I think these will be from episodes we haven't seen yet.) As far as the anniversary of ESB, even though it will be the anniversary, that doesn't mean that every set made next year will be ESB related, especially since we're also getting a new season of the Clone Wars. We're going to get new sets from those too. And besides, by my count we've already gotten 10 Hoth related sets (4 Snowspeeders (5 if you count the mini redesign that hasn't surfaced) - 7130, 4486, 4500 and 10129, 3 AT-ATs - 4483, 4489 and 10178, Hoth Rebel Base - 7666, Echo Base - 7749, even a Millennium Falcon - 4504. Cloud City, however, has only seen 5 sets (Cloud Car - 7119, 3 of Slave I - 7144, 6964 and 6209 and Cloud City - 10123). We need Ugnaughts in a Carbon Freeze chamber. Or if LEGO really wanted to make us happy, give us an Executor.

LEGO Star Wars 2009 Sets and Rumours
I couldn't be happier seeing these sets. It seems to me that LEGO is making a huge effort now to include more and more minifigs in each set. The early sets usually had around 3 figures on average, but this Endor set is the third in recent memory with more than 10! I think the figs chosen for each set is just right, but one thing confuses me. Why aren't we getting an Endor Han? I'm thrilled at an Endor Leia and the new colors for the Ewoks, but I would have hoped to see a new design for Han too. That's not to say that I'm not going to get the set of course. I really can't wait for some better pictures of Nute Gunray and Palpatine though.

Hi! It's good to be here
Hi to everyone at Eurobricks! I've been following the site for ages, but only just registered. I've been a huge LEGO fan my entire life, so it's about time! My first LEGO set ever was out of a McDonald's happy meal, and I've been hooked ever since. The first set that I ever bought for myself was the 6954 Blacktron Renegade. Two of my greatest childhood gifts were the Black Monarch's Castle and the Black Seas Barracuda. (Apparently I liked sets with "Black" in the name.) The first and only set I ever lost was 1584 Knight's Challenge. Other than that, I still have every lego set that I've ever owned. And even 1584 is probably just buried in my parent's basement somewhere. Today, I avidly collect the Star Wars LEGO sets, I have every single one since the line started in 1999 - excluding pens and magnets and a handful of the new ones ("yet" for the new sets, I refuse to miss one). I'm also obsessive enough to keep a spreadsheet of all Star Wars sets so I can keep track of what I have and what I need, how much they cost and how many pieces and figures. Ever since that line started, I've said that it's the worst thing that could possibly happen to my wallet. Being a huge LEGO and Star Wars fan, it was a perfect match for me! I also collected the entire Viking line and the new Pirates are very tempting though with how much Star Wars has been coming out, I'm not sure I could afford it. Anyway, you'll see me posting from time to time, now that I'm registered instead of just reading, so build on! Nate.

LEGO Star Wars 2009 Sets and Rumours
I haven't seen much speculation about the Millennium Falcon set, but that's the one I'm the most curious about. I know that list from wiki doesn't sound likely, but my guess about the figures on the Falcon are similar to what's listed there. We've had a Falcon with figures based around A New Hope, and the last system Falcon had figures around ESB, so now we're due for a ROTJ one. And Lando and Nien Nunb being the pilots then, I think they sound the most likely figures. Which makes me super excited to get both a new Lando and Nien Nunb! Based on the price that's been speculated, I think that it's not likely to have more than those two figures, but I am really curious how they're going to manage the Falcon at that price point.

Third leg on R2?
Hi everyone, this is my first post but I thought I could help for those wondering when this switch was made. It's nothing official, but I checked all of my figures and I have six R2s without the nubs inside, which would put the change at the end of 2001 - beginning of 2002. (To explain - I have one of each SW set and keep a spreadsheet of when the sets were released and what figures were included, so it was easy to figure - I'm OCD like that )
