  1. Great job! I've been working on one of my own. So far most of the upstairs is done and I'm working on the workshop. Lots of mismatched bricks until I get it done. lol
  2. This is the first Lego set I've purchased and I'll be honest, I only bought it so I could have the mansion, Tony and Pepper, and DUM-E with his fire extinguisher. The Mandarin, Extremis soldier, and copter went right onto eBay. So you're partly right on people buying it for the minifigures. lol Nobody told me I'd be bitten by the Lego bug and end up trying to expand the mansion to look more like the movie version. The workshop should be downstairs not in the living room! I have to wonder why Lego didn't do a workshop set and a mansion set so the two could combine. I would have bought them. This is a great review, and I love your sense of humor. Looking forward to more reviews!
  3. I'm trying to build a better Malibu Mansion -- or Tony Stark's Malibu Dream House as I call it -- and I'm so glad I found your post here! I've been trying to figure out how to expand the set to look more like the movie version. I bought another mansion from ebay but was really struggling until I saw what you'd done. Great idea! This is the first time I've ever played/built with Legos, believe it or not, and I have no clue what I'm doing. But I'm in love with building and modifying. I've put together an Agent Coulson, and plan on using the waiter and starlet from series 9 to become Tony and Pepper in the rooftop scene from Iron Man. I'm totally hooked. Thanks again for the inspiration!
