They didn't. If you read the actual report, the price rise refers to the ISD and not the advent calendar. And the increase is not double, it's 50%... Sorry to repeat whats already been posted.

Although I've read all the EU books, and enjoyed most of them, there are a lot of people that don't like them, and have never read more than one or two. A contest of this type is instantly putting people like that at a disadvantage, and I thought the main thrust of the comments on this thread was to make things a bit more inclusive? Just my opinion... K

Bought this today, and the figure is the best part IMHO :) Great printing, dual side head and just a great improvement over ALL the previous rebel pilots I've got !

Love the whole multi-layered-modular vibe you have going on here :) Every section has points of interest without looking overcrowded or messy and its not perfectly smooth! It's good to see non tiled areas when it is appropriate, and here it is entirely appropriate! Good job :) K

Amazing build! I have a VERY hard time believing this is LDD! I almost feel sorry for the Wampas....almost My one criticism would be the Wampas arms should be a bit longer, but that's not really a problem! Brilliant! K

Love it! You have a great building style! It kind of reminds me of the old Palitoy/Kenner playsets in both style and execution. Love all the details, and the touches of humour. Great stuff! And I am very honoured (and surprised!) to be part of it. K

Yep, both valid points. Not really sure why the pictures came out that way. I've had a long break from lego, and it's been quite a while since I took any photos, maybe I need to re-learn my photographic techniques! I did start to tile the floor, but it ended up looking more like Bespin than Hoth :) I tried partial tiling too, but that didn't look right either, so I gave in to the studdy look. :)

My entry is up Hope we have some more entries to come, we are about equal with the Imps in terms of numbers of builds so far, but this is no time to get cocky!

When the Empire attacked, the self destruct on the servers failed. The information was well encoded, but it wouldn’t take forever for a talented slicer to break the encryption. Secondary mission was to search the base for any salvageable equipment the Imperials might have missed, as well as a ’special’ mission for the Princess herself…. We landed our ship a well outside the base perimeter and took snow speeders low under the sensors to avoid detection. When we arrived at Echo Base, we discovered a surprisingly tiny Imperial force present, consisting of just a few Snowtroopers and four technical personnel. After a brief firefight we overcame the troopers and locked the survivors in the storage lockers on level 1 with food and blankets. A Mon Cal officer in an otherwise Imperial set? Thats a bizzarre leap of logic worthy of TLG itself!

Disappointed Normally there is at least ONE set in a wave that I want - not this time! I would've bought the Death Star Troopers pack, if it actually contained any Death Star Troopers. I'll be bricklinking a couple of Gunners (I've got more than enough imperial guards) and maybe the new Chewie , but apart from that I'll be saving my money until something better (hopefully!) comes along.

I would say its a good start! It certainly has the feel of Echo Base. I'd like to see a few more pictures from different angles. Can I make a suggestion? Try making your mini figures a bit more 'dynamic' , their poses are a little bit static at the moment. Try moving one of their legs backwards and have the non-gun arm pointing downwards slightly, and vary the poses more from figure to figure - it will make a world of difference, I promise!

Hi, I'm thinking of joining SONE , just the thing to bring me back to lego! One question, do all the pictures within an entry have to be of the same unaltered build? My idea is that I build a "set" then have the mini figures run around to tell the story :) Or does everything have to be static and unchanging? Thanks K
