My Ship Evolution
Quite nice! Your skills have improved astronomically! Great ships, through and through. My favorite is the Yellow Jacket. do you plan on building a large ship with 2 or more decks?

Imperial Crew Profile: Commander Morrison
No way... Cool! Never saw that coming...

My First Ship, WIP
Here's an LDD creation that should show you how: Brickshelf LEGO factory, when public

HMS Rochhester
Nice ship! It's cool that you already know so much about ships. I like everything about the ship, except for the length. It is a bit short, do you not have more hull pieces? It would be good to add 3 more hulls, or remove the lower deck. But other than that, it looks great! Do you not have imperial soldiers? The name says "british" but the crew says "pirate". Oh well, as your collection grows, so to does your shipbuilding skills! And since you're new to lego online forums, let me get you up to speed with the slanguage: MOC-My Own Creation MOD-Modification(of a set) IMO-In My Opinion TLG/TLC-The Lego Group/The Lego Company WIP-Work In Progress Welcome to Eurobricks, my friend!

The Yellow Jacket
Wow! I don't know what constructive critisism to give! What a beaut she is! That color scheme is stunning, and those printed sails! It's the best ship I've seen all day! (mostly because I have been looking at my own)

Purist Canadian Militia
Cool! I think the one with the red sleves would actually be good as a soldier, with epps. Nice work!

My ships
I certianly am planning to build a real ship-I'm trying to get the HMS Monarch built by august. I'd like to buy my other ships, but the colossus costs $500 by itself.

My First Ship, WIP
Do you think that you could make cabin windows on that zig-zaggy part of the wall? It would look much better.

My ships
no clue... I find rudders a bit hard to put on brick built hulls. I'll probably retrofit HMS Panther and HMS Colossus with rudders when I have time... but that's for later: HMS Colossus The name says it all. This was my biggest ship, with 2 decks and over 40 cannon. The same sloping technique was adapted for this ship. it had a tumblehome, which really made it more realistic. I used a simmilar color scheme: A top view: The Stern: With HMS Panther: HMS Monarch And that brings us to today. My latest vessel, The HMS Monarch, incorperates everthing that I have learned in my Half a year at Eurobricks. I plan to purchase this ship eventually, and add hulls. It will be the first decent MOC ship that I will build in real: The stern: The bow slopes: Tumblehome: Top view: From the rear: Over 2 years, my ship design has changed alot. What will be next?

My ships
Over time, I have built a number of ships on LDD. With your help, they have gotten better and better! I'd like to show you my ships, and how they have changed over time. My First Ship: 1 mast, 4 cannons. It also had some interior. Empty stern: My Second Ship: My second ship shows improvements in my stern construction, and has many more cannon. my lower deck was too low, and the ship is far to top heavy. There was also no tumblehome. It was the first ship I posted here: Someone once commented that the bow looked like that of a cargo ship: Much more detailed stern: Many cannon ports: The sides are straight as a door: The HMS Panther This was my first ship to feature tumblehome. It had less cannon, but was much more detailed. It has the color scheme of the HMS Victory: I tried out a new, better sloped hull, and it was much more realistic: The cabin is based on Brickbeard's bounty, which I had aquired a week earlier: At my port, which I had built in sync with the ship.

The " Going Merry"
It strikes fear into my heart... Nice ship! It really does look comical! The way you did the masts is good, and that ram's head is quite interesting! great work!
-
Custom shako design
It looks quite good! how long did it take you to make them?
-
My new Ship MOC WIP 'L'Aigle'
maybe making the slopes, ect. yellow would make it look nicer. I Love the tumblehome, and I'm REALLY envious about your bow skills. she will be quite a ship when she's finished! Keep up the good work!
-
HMS Monarch
Thanks! The sails will be in cloth, and this is just their approximate placement. i'll probably do 2 sails at the bow, but I'm not sure how to do that in lego.

The Administration by Imperial Governer
It sounded like american. "General Brickington". but they're redcoats... I don't know.

WIP: HMS Ubiquitous
To French: add blackmoor's ships Le Fourageux and le Formidable To British, Add in my miniscule LDD navy: HMS Colossus: HMS Panther: HMS Monarch: Your ship is coming along great, houndblower! It's quite a fortress! Because all the shots are relatively close together, one broadside could smash a huge whole in the side of a ship! Good work, I can't wait to see it completed!
-
The Administration by Imperial Governer
very good indeed. I would add a hook to Ralph's hand, it doesn't seem right to just not have a hand there. But it's a cool idea to make your own stories and characters

My First Ship, WIP
I did!: Remind you of anything?
-
Redcoats Outpost
Great Moc! This is really detailed, and I imagine it could easily be expanded! If you could build four of these, and made them modular, it would be a great fortress!
-
LEGO Pirates at Brickworld 2009!
Darn...I was in chicago LAST month...
-
HMS Monarch
More Pics! The Deck Guns: The bow: The sloping: Overhead view, length/width proportions:[ And a final shot of the stern: If only it mesured up to everyone else's great ships!
-
My First Ship, WIP
When in doubt, copy someone else. When in DEEP doubt, copy TLG.
-
HMS Monarch
Of course: I'll build the masts in the traditional fashion, and with cloth sails. I just wanted to show what it would look like.

Sculpted and Paneled Hull/Ship WIP
He means brown tiles. he's got tons of normal bricks, but no brown tiles. how do I know? I share the same fate!
-
HMS Monarch
I am going away for the next week, and will not have access to a computer. Here is my current progress: I've followed YnyklY's advise and changed the masts: The aft sail is too big, I'll reduce it's size later. When I get back, i'll begin to build the ship in real bricks! Can't wait!
