  1. Could you deeplink that picture? the folder won't be public for another 1-5 hours.
  2. Hmm, sounds interesting. Do you have pictures?
  3. Do you like it like this?
  4. Gosh, you're so hard to please Alright, for my first house, i'll board up the windows, cut off half the roof, blow up one wall on the second floor, and put in a machine gun post somewhere. For the wall, can I build a half stud outward from the 16x16 baseplate (not into someone elses Moc) ? That way, I could put in one of those metal grate things.
  5. I'm suprised they haven't done any animation yet! I think they could do TV, but it would probably be some 10-20 minute show on CN or something.
  6. Lego40k, I believe you should move your MOC to the build thread. I like it very much, it really is a cool design.
  7. Sounds cool, Eskallon! Might as well continue this topic, since we really haven't started a story line yet. So here is what I propose: In the year 2010, a worldwide drought has caused many of the world's breadbaskets to fail. Across the world, people begin starving. Russia, who's growing capabilities are slim, quickly sees it's people starving. It's relatively new democracy fails. Order quickly becomes chaos. Dimitri Mabus, a man who's name would become infamous, becomes the leader of the UN. He promises that within 5 years, His home of Russia, and all the world, will have recovered and will be stronger than ever. Millions flock to his cause, and quickly all the world is his stage. He even helps the israelites repair their great temple! But soon after, things begin taking a turn for the worse. Russia begins building a new army, as does the United States. Mabus has become president of Russia, but his country, and all the countries, are split between those in favor of Mabus and those against him. Mabus declares that all peoples of faith are members of the Right, the people who shall inherit the earth. Entire countries unite under Mabus, who now rules over a massive empire. Mabus makes Jerusalem his seat of power, and his palace, The Third Temple of the Right. Mabus's banners fly all over the world, and it's neo-facist regiem reaches from Siberia to New Genea to Sudan to Poland. The western world looks on in fear as millions of soldiers, thousands of ships and vehicles, and hundreds of warheads are built. The Free World, including Western Europe from Germany to Spain, Britian, Ireland, Turkey, Japan, South Korea, The United States, Canada, and the rest of Australia, North and South America still stand against him. Tensions continue to rise, and then, on December 21st of 2012, the winter solstice, Mabus's massive army mobilizes. Warheads are launched at Washington, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Seoul, Beijing, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Tokyo. The earth's major cities are reduced to rubble within 24 hours. Over 3 billion people die on this day, eventually to be called Judgement Day. But the war was not to end. People are still fiercely loyal to one faction or another. The armies of Mabus attack Germany, Australia, and Alaska, quickly overwhelming the allied defences there. The blitzkriege continues, Mabus's armies making it all the way to California and France. Biological warfare, along with the moving armies, fleeing civilians, and crumbling infrastructure caused massive outbreaks of smallpox, anthrax, and other terrible diseases that were almost unstopable. Mabus's armies left a trail of utter destruction in their wake. It appeared as though the free world would crumble under it's might. But somehow, the scourge of death, the armies of Mabus, began to fall. Falling back across the Urals and the Bering straight, their territories were failing. Finally, in 2039, the armies assembled in a massive battle at a valley just out of range of the once great capital of Mabus's evil empire, Jerusalem. The greatest battle of all time had begun. The Battle of Meggido. For 3 months, the forces of good and evil fought in massive numbers. Tanks and trucks rumbled across the landscape, and in the skies the planes of both armies were blasted into submission. Mabus's soldiers fought like demons, their eyes were dark as night. The allies continued the fight, but were quickly loosing ground. Then, on december 24th, a new star appeared in the sky. It was bright, and clear, shining overhead. It came closer and closer to earth, and one could see it take human form. It was a the image of a group of people, so bright they could not be looked at. Then, up from the shining spires of the 3rd temple, came a dark shadow. It spread over the city like an eclipse. The sky grew dark as it spread out over the landscape. Then, at midnight on december 23rd, a great bellow echowed over the landscape, as from the angels came a furious strike of lightning. It collided with the temple, and exploded, a huge eruption of fire coming from it's wake. Mabus was dead. The destruction was immense. The nukes had caused much of the polar ice caps to melt, causing mass flooding. The skies filled with dust, the earth cooled down, leading to a nuclear winter. Most of the land was now infertile. The war was over, but no one was happy. The men of the enemy's army fell to their knees, their eyes clear. Every man broke down crying, crying for all those loved ones who lay in the rubble. Everyone had been tricked by Mabus, who had promised them a better world, had ended up destroying it. Now, in January of 2040, a group of refugees from all corners of the world sat in a convoy of trucks, on a small highway in eastern North America were moving from site to site, looking for a home. Finally, they find a small, ruined town, with a stable climate and several bunkers with supplies. There are several houses that are still mostly intact, and decent growing space. The survivors get out of their trucks, and begin to rebuild their lives. Long, right? Questions, comments? Ways to improve it? Though a story isn't as important as building, you still need to have one. Edit: Note: everyone on Mabus's side was under the control of The Evil . I am not racist.

I have one more to post, but after that, it might as well be. I'll put it up as soon as I can. I am really frustrated at the 2 people who never posted.
  9. I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but still, look what I found on brickipedia (in english!) New set list It's got Atlantis, Star Wars, and Power Miners. How do those names sound to you? I hope with atlantis we get some destroyed temple of some kind, maybe with a load of seaweed!
  10. Cool idea, ricecracker! Can't wait to see it. Have you started building it? Here's the LDD Plan for my 3 squares: On the left is a house of the town's leader (if we decide it to be so). It was built after the apocalypse, using supplies from an underground storage facility that somehow went unscathed. It was the first house that was built from scratch. It was built in a midieval style called wattle and daub, and because of the building's proximity to a small river, they used woven water reeds and mud for insulation around a wood frame. Next to the house is a small, but productive, garden. In it are grown tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, and corn. You can also see the clothesline running between the two buildings. On the right, in what used to be a small grocery store, is now a garage for the various vehicles being used to build the town. There are still oil supplies in places, and there are several trucks that bring supplies into the settlement which need to be repaired. The rest of the pictures can be seen here. Edit: Just realized that I didn't put in a wall. Am I and my MOC screwed?
  11. What will you build?
  12. Sorry for my absence, I was on vacation. Do you mind if I can use squares 18,19, and 20? For a house, a garden, and a small Vehicle repair shop? I'll post LDD Moc's of the plans at some point, if this is the right place to do it. If not, please direct me toward the correct place. It is the building thread, though !

The wait is OVER!!!!!! Redcoat education begins at a young age... I'm having trouble with pictures, so it's a link. Hope you like it! I'll be away until friday afternoon (E.S.T.) so you won't see me till then. So long!

How is that supposed to help?! Will you vote bluecoat even if you haven't seen half their team? You biased canadian!
  15. Hey CGH CBH, do you think you could update the parts list in the first post of the build thread? That way I can buy all the pieces I need at once when I can afford them. The ship is coming along well!
  16. Admiral M replied to Zorro's post in a topic in Pirate MOCs
Excellent. But what to do now? Our adversary now only has 2 people, and can't adequetly compete. What should we do? Judges? Zorro?
  17. And here it is! A basic 2-level fortress, partly based off of Martin's Fort St. Kendra, it protects the village from enemy attack. This small fort, armed with 13 guns, combined with the HMS Conquest, is quite capable of punching holes in the sides of enemy ships. The whole folder here.

Ok guys, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I don't want to double-post for our team and therefore was waiting for teddygramz or erinred5 to post their Vigs, but they haven't been on for this entire tournement and I'm not sure they're even active members anymore. What do you think I should do? Post my Moc, or wait for a bluecoat to post his? It is still their turn, but I don't want to be at fault for slowing us down. Already we are a week behind schedule...

This is my favorite.I like the wooden construction, and making it longer than it is wide adds to the realism. I like the windows, too. Good job!
  20. This looks good! I like the way the top story is larger than the bottom. However it would be good if you tried a "panneling effect" like in MMV on the top floor. It really improves the building.
  21. Admiral M replied to Lt. Col. Thok's post in a topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Wow, looks really good for a first time! I've built churches in LDD as well. Do you have any inspiration?
  22. Admiral M replied to martinsuper's post in a topic in Pirate MOCs
That is quite a nice port, Martin! The boardwalk looks good, Fort St. Kendra looks great, and that lighthouse really looks fantastic! I'm not sure I like it's hight, and it's walkway, however, but that doesn't matter. Have you ever made a ship?
  23. Admiral M replied to Hound Knight's post in a topic in Pirate MOCs
I agree with Rick, the half doors look out of place. I'd put them together, and I think it would look better. The fort looks great, I think I'll have to steal from you! What better way to win fame and glory than to conquer it yourself!
  24. Admiral M replied to Zorro's post in a topic in Pirate MOCs
I can, sure. I've had connection problems lately. I think it's fixed, but Hound Knight already posted for me. I'll put it in on saturday. Glad to help, and sorry for the mess up guys!
