Tantive IV MOC
This has got to be the best LSW diorama I've ever seen. Aside from the perfect build, the photography used to capture such classic scenes really makes it stand out!

REVIEW: 7746 Single-drum roller
Great review, Siango! This set's been on my want list since it was announced. The $30 price point is the big thing holding me back, unfortunately, but your review is pushing me to buy it! Must...resist...!

REVIEW: 10152 Maersk Sealand
Wow, that ship really looks great! It's something you should adorn the top of a bookcase with; even in a professional environment, that thing just radiates class.

REVIEW: 7637 Farm
Awesome review! Looks like this really is the crowning jewel of the new Farm line. The price really puts me off, though, so I won't be able to add it to my collection. (Of course, I have nowhere to put it, anyway...)

It looks great to me. I certainly couldn't do any better!

BREAKING NEWS! New TT game announced for DS!
Naturally, this is a must-have. However, the two promo images shown on Joystiq clearly show very high-resolution graphics, like those seen on PS3/360/PC. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see this game also coming out for those systems, like the previous LEGO games have.

LEGO Batman (Or lack of)
I believe the LEGO Batman line has been cancelled, and TLC isn't renewing the license. Which is a shame, because I enjoyed the sets (and the video game) quite a bit.

I don't want to know how obscenely expensive that thing's going to be.

REVIEW: 7634 Tractor
Is it confirmed that it'll be ten euros? If anyone finds out the official MSRP in other currencies, please let me know, so I can edit accordingly.

REVIEW: 7634 Tractor
Yeah, my kitchen table's far too reflective. I could build on it, sure, but the glare makes photography next to impossible, and I don't have any white sheets to drape over it. Does that mean my review was good, or bad? Yep. That hitch is the same one used on plenty of other sets. (You'll just need an extended connector on whatever trailer you use, or just take the bucket off the tractor.) That's used to strengthen the attach points for the bucket. It's slid into the cores of two black Technic pins, right behind the rear wheels. (You can see it in my "Building in Progress" pic, as well as on the random instruction manual page.)

REVIEW: 7634 Tractor
INDEXED LEGO's new City subtheme for 2009 is the Farm, and if you've got fields to plow or heavy equipment to move, then you'll need a tractor. Good thing TLC made one, eh? I nabbed one of these yesterday, so let's get on with the review! Set Info Set Name: 7634 Tractor Theme: City Subtheme: Farm Released: 2009 Pieces: 78 Price: USD $12.99? (it was $14.99 at TRU ), GBP ?, EUR ? Minifigs: 1 Box Front If you're under the age of three, then don't eat the pieces. Box Back "Designed for easy building and instant play." Well, yeah; isn't that the point of LEGO? Manual Complete with DSS. (At least there's only three tiny ones.) Random Page Parts (Bagged) Two bags: one big, one small. Parts (Unbagged) Ahh, there's nothing quite like the sight of a fresh pile of bricks, waiting to be built with! Spare Parts Not many. The Minifig Here's our farmer. The face and cap are rather standard, but check out those stereotypical green overalls and red flannel shirt! All he needs is a piece of wheat grass to stick between his teeth, and an empty beer can to spit tobacco juice into. Seriously, though; the minifig is simple, but absolutely perfect for this set. Building in Progress The chassis starts to take shape. Final Model Now, our farmer can get to work! As you can see, the final model looks pretty damned good. There's few specialized pieces, and there's no mistaking that this is a heavy-duty farm tractor. There's a good amount of detail, too, right down to the rear bucket. The farmer can toss his shovel back there, or you can use it to spread seeds, soil, or whatever else your farm may need. The massive tires are sure to keep a good grip, even in muddy fields. (Hopefully our farmer can send out one of his fellow farmhands in his place if it's rainy!) I should point out that some minor disassembly is needed to place the minifig in the driver's seat; you need to remove the cab roof and glass in order to sit him down! (Quite a few recent vehicles have this quirk, sadly.) Alternate Views Here's the tractor with the bucket lowered. You can also see the trailer hitch; perfect for attaching your MOCs! You don't want to play chicken with this. The right side, showing off the exhaust pipe. Last Words Pros: Finally, a powerful tractor set to proper minifig scale! The model's nice and solid, with great detail. The bucket in the back is a nice touch, too. Cons: The price. I had to pay extra because I bought the set at TRU, but even if the official MSRP ends being as low as $9.99, you're still only getting 78 pieces. Overall: Price nonwithstanding, this tractor is still a great set. Other tractors we've seen have been rather weak, mainly because they were too small and wimpy-looking. This is a big red beast, and a fine addition to any budding farmer's collection. (Pun intended!) Links Toys R Us Brickset

Review: Set 7236 Police Car
Excellent review. I actually got this set for Christmas, but mine's a bit different; the stickers are blue (not black), and both English and German stickers were included! (And the set was bought from a Toys R Us, I believe!)

REVIEW: 7746 Compactor/Steam Roller
This set just started appearing on Toys R Us' website...for $31.99. Which means the "real" MSRP is likely $29.99. That's a bit steep. :(
-
REVIEW: 7746 Compactor/Steam Roller
I need to get my grubby hands on this once it gets a US release. I'm hoping it'll be $19.99, but I've got a sinking feeling it'll be $29.99. :(

Greetings from an FBTB'er
The SW line is my focus, but I've been getting back into Town/City lately. I also dig the Space, Pirates, and Castle themes. :) Cool, that pre-emptively answered my question. I was going to transplant some of my reviews from FBTB, but I saw reviews here for the sets already (and they're much nicer than mine!), and wasn't sure if you needed any more. But since you obviously do...I'll start bringing them over! My reviews are rather brief, but perhaps people will find them useful. Am I required to use the same style of reviews that others have? (i.e., box shots, manual shots, building-in-progress shots, etc.)

Greetings from an FBTB'er
I found my way here from our friends at FBTB.net. So, hello! I hope to transplant some of my reviews over here, as I've been getting back into the Town/City theme lately. Hope no one minds!
