How Many Minifigs do you own?
Brickset says 72! Most of them are from the modular buildings. (And I have some double ones I need to count and add to the statistic. So I guess I have around 80 figures.)

Hello from Germany :)
@Brickington You are welcome! I'm a member since over 5 years in a German forum (not LEGO related) and I love it when people write a bit about themselves. But like pomised here is some additional information: According to Brickset I own 110 sets. They are worth $2991. (When I first started using Brickset and I saw the number I was shocked.) Most sets are from the Creator series (55) followed by the Minifigs (14) and Technic (13). The first two modular building (Fire Brigade and Pet Shop) were Christmas gifts. The Town Hall and the Grand Emporium were Easter gifts. (Well not really, I used Easter as an excuse to spend that much money.) I will definitely buy the Palace Cinema but I wait until the price drops. (I have paid a little over 100€ for my Grand Emporium, I hope that the price for the Palace Cinema will be around that as well.) I don't know why but building LEGOs is like doing Yoga or something like that. It is a perfect stress relief. I don't feel so relaxed when I build my own building which I rarely do. Duplo is another thing. I love my train set and I'm not ashamed to say that. And I love building huge towers with the Duplo bricks. (They are usually taller than me.) I have nobody in Real Life to talk about my obsession so maybe that is why I write such lengthy paragraphs. When I start talking the my mother she just gives me those "Stop it" looks and my Dad just talks about how I should build my own stuff and not build with an instruction. (But that is what I like.)

How long before you take apart a set?
Depends! I have a collecting of my Creator houses standing on my shelf, so before I want to buy another house I take them apart. My modular buildings will be standing there for years I guess. If everything is okay and I don't drop them. (I dropped them once when I walked upstairs with two of them to show them my Grandpa...) Other sets (like cars) don't "survive" that long, I sometimes take them apart instantly after I build them.

What did you buy today?
3065 Olivia's Tree House (Friends) 2 packs from the Series 10 minifigs. (Got Warrior Woman and Paintball Player.)

Collectable Minifigure Sightings & Availability
Series 10 out in Stuttgart, Germany. (Galeria Kaufhof, full display! So it is very likely that other Galeria Kaufhofs have it as well.) And extra tipp: Check your Marktkauf, I have recently bought some Series 4 (!!!) figures there. They sometimes have older sets too.

Hi, I'm Sarah (one of the lone females?)
Hi! I'm quite new but female as well. I love the Creator houses. (I can't wait for the two new ones this summer.) And the modular buildings are just great. xx

Hello from Germany :)
@Leo Crimson Thank you! @PsyKater Thank you too! Until now I have never been a member of a LEGO forum so it is good to know that there are more people with Asperger's on LEGO forums as well. I know some other Aspies but they all have other types of obsessions.

Routines You Have While Building Lego
It depends on the set, all my modular building were build on special dates like Easter or Christmas. I do not sort the bricks, I like searching and the sound of it. (My parents hate me for it when I build in the kitchen.) But this is my routine for a set like the Apple Tree House from Creator: 1. Going to my LEGO cupboard and selecting the set I want. 2. Get the instruction manual from my card box stands or whatever you call them. 3. Get my different small (empty) boxes I use for sorting when I build big sets. 4. I don't build in my room because the chance of loosing bricks would be too high. (My room is a mess.) So I go into our kitchen and build there. (I'm still living with my parents.) 5. Build the set. 6. Going to my mini figure collection (all sorted into hair, heads, body's,...) and build the figure who fits into the set. 7. Done. :)

Hello from Germany :)
This will be quite short but I have to go to work in a couple of minutes. More later. :) My name is Melanie and my username is Aspie91. 91 is my year of birth and "Aspie" is the nick name or whatever you want to call it for people with Asperger's Syndrome, a form of Autism. I started collecting Lego sets not too long ago. It must be two or three years since it became a obsession. Before that I didn't care much about it to be honest. I played with my Dad's old bricks but that was it. Today I have over 100 sets (mostly Creator) and I'm in love with the modular buildings. I have all the sets who are currently available minus the Palace Cinema. (Waiting for the price to drop and then I'm going to buy it on Amazon España like I did with the other sets.) More about my sets either today or tomorrow. I apologise in advance for any spelling mistakes or especially grammatical errors. English isn't my first language and I suck at grammar. Well, I guess that's it for now. Off to work and after work I'll take a look at the store and see if the 41015 Friends Yacht is there or not and I'm buying the Friends tree house. I can't wait until the Creator one hits the stores but I have to have the Friends one too. xx Edit: Just saw my member number, that is awesome! My Autistic part is jumping up and down right now. ;-)
