That really does look Awesome I'm wondering if it may pair up better with the Cafe Corner, since the color scheme is similar, and the CC is slightly shorter
  2. Brickbeard's Bounty got me into the Pirates line, so that gets my vote, but my favorite minifig is the shipwrecked pirate from loot island I'm also eagerly anticipating an add-on to the fort
  3. I think Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid would work with current sets like the MMV and the Pirates line
  4. I'd definitely buy it if it were available here... Heck i'd buy 2
  5. I ordered my first modular building, the Green Grocer (on sale) and will be getting the others as soon as funds permit. I think the idea of thinner buildings to go between the others is great, for the variety and cost benefits I'd love to see a hospital, bank and post office
  6. When i was a kid i loved He-Man and the MOTU and Thundercats, though when i rewatched them recently, i don't think they've aged well. I did enjoy the 2002 He-Man series though From the 90's i loved Batman TAS, the first 2 seasons of Gargoyles and X-Men and still watch them on reruns I've always felt the 1st and 3rd generations of Robotech are excellent, and the 2nd is barely watchable, except the last few episodes Gummi Bears was good fun, and i really enjoy the old Warner Brothers cartoons (from maybe the 60's?) which can be pretty violent by today's standards More recently, I thought Avatar: The Last Airbender was a really good series Currently, the only cartoon I watch is the Clone Wars, which I only got into because of the legos, and now find to be pretty good
  7. I got Boba Fett and Darth Maul with the magnet sets And have the Grievous that came with his SF, but it's kind of lame without a cape, so i'd like a better version but after seeing this I'm going with the Emperor
  8. Thanks for the great review. Glad the cockpit part is printed. I don't think there can ever be enough minifigs included in any set, but i'm content with the 5 I guess we'll just have to get used to what seems to be the new price point of the Lego sets I missed the republic cruiser, so this is definitely a must have for me... though i'll probably wait till Xmas
  9. Hi

Shamrock777 posted a post in a topic in Hello! My name is...
Hi Eurobricks members I'm 30, originally from South Africa and currently live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I got back into Lego last year after seeing my brother's 7659 Imperial Landing Craft. I was amazed at how inventive Lego had become I started with the Tumbler, and then the rest of the year's Batman line. Then I went onto the Indy and Star Wars sets (I've always been a fan of the movies, but if it wasn't for the Legos I would never have gotten into the CW series) I found the Troll Warship on sale, which got me into the Castle line, and I loved the look of Brickbeard's Bounty so I ended up getting all the Pirate sets. Over the course of my collecting, I found this site, which has been an excellent resource and advertisement for Lego... I especially love the set reviews, and am blown away by the MOCs you guys come up with I look forward to posting pics of my collection soon
