LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors
Awesome, thanks for the link! The CTT looks much smaller than I expected, and there's lots of yellow pieces and exposed technic beams/bricks on the interior. However, the outside looks very detailed, and the AT-RT is fantastic! It looks excellent for an official model. And it does look like there's a handle (it's jutting out of the top in the pic ) on the CTT so it can attach to the Republic Dropship set! Not sure if it's worth $120 USD, but I'll wait for more pics before making a judgement. The Hoth Wampa Cave looks spectacular! It'll be a chance for me to get my first snowspeeder, and a Hoth Luke (who has new torso and head printing)! Plus, the Wampa looks great! The gaps on the inner parts of its arms are a bit annoying, though. I also don't like how Zev Senesca is in this set as well as the battle pack. It would have been better to get a different head at least. For a $40 USD set, it doesn't seem all that bad. But overall, these two sets looks great! And five more days until clearer pics!

Yay, another LEGO game! I really enjoy playing Traveller's Tales' games, so I bet that this will be a blast! Can't wait for more details.

My afternoon...
Thanks for the pics Brick Town Talk! It looks even better now! Lots of new pieces/colors, like the dark green windows, new arch pieces, quarter curved slope pieces, the return of those gigantic windshields (never knew that piece existed until now!), a whole bunch of 1 x 3 light bley tiles on the roof, trans-clear headlight bricks (who'd've thought that we'd get them in a trans color!) and much more! The top two floors are a bit empty with only 2/3 tables, but the highly detailed ground floor and the size of the building (it takes up the whole baseplate, unlike Fire Brigade and Green Grocer, which have a backyard). It's really cool how Jamie and the other designers (if there are any) added some great details like the mannequins (great how they come with smiley face heads instead of blank ones!), the chandelier (although I wouldn't place it on the toy section of the building ), and the billboard (the minifig head is simple but effective!). I also love how one of the minifigs has a pair of blue jeans and "underwear" so he can "change". They've been in sets since the summer 2009 wave.

Does TLG listen to us?
I think the main way we communicate through to TLG is by answering the polls they put out every once in a while and by making comments in the Embassy section of the forum, where LEGO Ambassadors (like CopMike) compile our comments and send the main ideas to TLG. Also, Jamie Berard (the designer of modular buildings and other fantastic sets) is a member, so he might be reading our comments.

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors
I did a couple screengrabs of the video (thanks for the link Christian!): http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ILikePi/...screengrabs.jpg The picture is a bit big, so I'm not going to deeplink it. Enjoy!

Harry Potter 2010 discussion thread
That seems to be a reversed image of the UK Toy Fair picture (look at the reversed watermark on the bottom right and the word "LEGO" reversed on the top right). Great find! Now we can see the whole game more easily.

Parts you have an unaccountable fondness for?
Here's part of my list of parts that I like very much but that aren't universally acclaimed: Chain I always wonder how TLG manages to mold the chain links together without having them stick to each other when the plastic is still liquid. Large flame I love how this piece is marbled from trans-red to trans-yellow! Also, it has a great shape. Temple of the Crystal Skull raised baseplate I like how there are lots of pits and different elevations on this baseplate! It provides lots of MOCing ideas, for example, brickzone's Agents HQ. Flick-fire missile I don't really understand why people hate this so much. It gives lots of extra playability, and you don't have to fire it if you don't want to! They've also been used as non-FFM related things, like the left guns of the AT-ST and Chief Chirpa's staff. I like how there are now two colors of FFM pieces, too (see above for the red version)! Hopefully that'll lead to more colors in the future. There's probably even more things that I find spectacular, but I'll leave my list like this for now. EDITed on 2/8/10 because I just noticed that Svelte said "parts that are not universally loved". Oops!

Atlantis 2010
Wow, the Portal of Atlantis (or, as the box says, "US Productnam" ) looks amazing! Lots of cool stuff like the gigantic shark's head, stone shark statues, and the Aqua Raider diver skeleton (hooray for hints to past themes )! I'll definitely have to get this if it ever goes on sale. Svelte already linked to them in the previous page.

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors
Yay, clear preliminary pictures! I don't have much to comment on the Clone Turbo Tank, Slave I, Plo Koon's Starfighter, and Hoth Wampa Cave, but the CTT looks a bit colorful on the inside and Boba Fett and Bossk both look spectacular! General Grievous' Starfighter looks very large with 454 pieces! I love the look of Nahdar Vebb, but will wait for closer pics of Grievous before commenting on him. I'm not so sure about EV-A4-D, though. It looks like he has a new torso piece that has a "neck pole", but he looks pretty inaccurate. Also, if his face isn't printed, it would be horrible! I like Darth Vader's torso print, it really makes it look like he was badly burned. I don't really like the overall look of Palpatine's Shuttle though. The medical droid looks very cool, but the ship itself seems a bit colorful with the mix of white, both shades of bley, dark red, and dark tan. Also, it's great to get piece counts on the boxes so we know the approximate price of each set. Now I really can't wait for even closer pics than these and videos showing the features of each set at the New York Toy Fair!

What is the hardest Lego set you have ever built?
The most difficult LEGO set I've ever build has got to be the Technic Hailfire Droid. You build one section of the wheels, then you turn the page and it shows "2x"! Each wheel build very lengthy, so it's really frustrating that you have to make two exact copies of the same thing.

LEGO Risk, Anyone?
My brother has a Transformers Risk board game that he got from a cousin. I can take a picture of the board if you need some inspiration. There's a couple of sliding and rotating pieces that are on the board, too. You should try putting features like that into your board to make it more interesting (by using pieces like bricks with grooves and turntables). Good luck on your endeavor!

MOC: The Zurgmobile!
That looks very intimidating! I like the usage of purple parts from current sets (Ambush in Cairo, Smash 'n' Grab, Construct-a-Zurg), and it complements your Okymobile very well. I also like how you got Zurg to fit in without removing his capes or anything!

CITY: Extremely random photos from Lego City!
Wow! I love the progress on your city. The interior of the house is very detailed, and you put lots of foliage all over the city! My favorite part has got to be your LEGO Store. You even got the signature giant 2 x 4 red brick! I'll have to make an accurate LEGO Store of my own some day!
