I particularly like the base of the tree, but perhaps a booby trap or even something to drop on the unsuspecting Imperials? A really good start though.
  2. Color me impressed. NPU.

I agree, I really like the looks of it. Finally, a twist that the modular buildings were not expecting. I imagine this would pair nicely with the firehouse.

I know it is just a sub-model, but I think the tree is one of the best looking official trees LEGO has released.
  5. All I hope is that it doesn't come down to pink ninjas, I would rather the theme go with some class than trying to milk every once of dignity out of it.

The old redcoats work well for NCO's and other rarer ranks in my case, but I do like the helmet on the redcoats.

Now, that is the way to start the New Year. I'm looking forward to it!

That...just keeps growing in size. 2 things spring to mind: 1) What are you using for reference and 2) Good luck.
  9. While the whole thing is a treat for the eyes, I think my favorite of the details has to be the use of the Artic hoods from the Collectible Minifigures for the nests.
  10. I agree that we do need an MTT again (the last one was in my Dark Ages) but I hope it isn't a CW era (I definitely prefer the more realistic PT colors over the CW era colors.)
  11. I agree, but it was always overpriced to begin with.
  12. This looks like a pretty great set, although like everyone else, I will be focused on the Bat and Catwoman, the inidental pieces, especially the boxes, will be used.
  13. Is that last polybag a CW era MTT?
  14. A great review! While I have never bought Ninjago before (not a huge fan) I might have to pick up this set just for the parts. Just curious, has the Ninjago resemblance to Power Rangers been discussed yet?
  15. Really nice shots! I especially enjoyed the waterfall and the low depth of field.
  16. I can't believe I am saying this, but...this actually looks like a pretty good parts pack. I might have to pick one up, since that blackboard is a printed piece, I am already picturing the possibilities.
  17. I agree, now to use that head for some non SW ideas. LEGO roundhouse kick perhaps?
  18. That, and the fat they had to justify the Mon Calamari head in the CW.
  19. Is there such a thing?

A great review, and what looks like a pretty nice set...but I think I am going to pass, and Cracklink the new droid.
  21. It looks like the first version of the Geonosian from the original Geonosian Starfighter.
  22. It is interesting that it seems that LEGO has broken up the old Geonosian Starfighter into two sets, this and the new Starfighter. That being said, I think the new designs are a great improvement, as well as the seletion of the figures.
  23. An advent calendar for me, not too notable, but it was 50% off.
  24. I noticed that about the "expanded battlepack" that this set and the Droid Escape seem to be. I mean, this will not stop me from purchasing it, if only so I can have a decapitated Gree on Kashykk.
