  1. I hate to echo everyone else, but an excellent piee of work!
  2. I am torn in regards to the double-faction sets. However, this is a nice canon-styled set (no made-up vehicles for this year's Battle Packs) However, seeing this review, then I have to agree that this is a great army building set.
  3. I have to agree, the "standard" Ki Adi Mundi would be great, and rather less frightening than the CW figure we have seen.
  4. I am not too sure about the new faces, or the new prints, but this is a must-buy for me, since it is an Endor set. With these Rebels, the Endor Strike Force is almost complete.

I was wondering if/ when someone would use the Spartans in a Nativity scene. Nice work on the whole thing. Just curious, why did you decide on a different scale for the angels?
  6. How much does this set go for price wise?
  7. That fish created from the turkey is both a greats parts usage, and yet, I feel like it will haunt my dreams. Great little MOC.

Great job! I almost passed it by, but on a closer look, you have captured the architechture quite well.
  9. I agree, while the Witchking is not my favorite, the invisble Frodo is a great idea.
  10. An excellent review! I think I might pass on this one, in favor of a slightly more modern (aka Nolan) Batman.
  11. Great work! I was going to pass it by, but then I saw the lights, excellent integration, and I especially like the detail of the Death Star topiary.
  12. I agree, I know it is heresy to wait, but I have a feeling I am going to wait, pounce on any after-Christmas deals, and then save to splurge on May 4th. (In the hopes of another Star Wars Day promotion)
  13. It is quite possible they are holding off on releasing to capitalize on the 3-D release of The Phantom Menace?
  14. I surmised it would probably be around that point by looking at the only other Harry Potter set that had 10 figures in it (the castle) then adjusted the price down slightly because of the low number of bricks. The biggest thing that will raise the price is Jabba, as we need to look at the SW creature prices, and how they bump up the price (I'm thinking about the Tauntaun and the Wampa.)
  15. Looking over and comparing the prices with the Harry Potter, I think we can surmise that Jabba's Palace is going to be in excess of $100, at least. That is a shame, but I think I am going to need to pick that up, having missed out the first time around.

A truly nice pipe dream, although, they could use their blasters. Unfortunately, I have to agree this will never occur.

For some reason, I am really reminded of the Steam Wars idea (Star Wars+steampunk) Nice droid though.

I know I am late to the party, but great work! Any Tusken Raider additions are excellent in my book.

All those figures...you sir, are awesome
  20. I think we all know that feeling!
  21. A fascinating tutorial, and I enjoy the fact it is illustrated completely in LEGO.
  22. Well, the droid close up just sold me on the X-Wing.
  23. Huntleyfx replied to Piranha's post in a topic in LEGO Pirates
They confirmed LOTR?! Well, there goes my wallet. I can understand POTC not selling too well though. It doesn't really "fit" with any of the other pirates, so it's going against the core of the Pirate builders.
  24. As a droid lover, I know you might dislike the scale, but the astromech looks great!
  25. That is in addition to the (relatively) high minifigure count, which will always drive the price up.
