  1. SImple solution to the problem: The bluecoat musket is so clean, and the uniform is so pressed because it has never seen action. Once again, they surrender. RULE BRITANNIA and HUZZAH FOR THE REDCOATS!
  2. Since I was working an event with LEGO, we also picked it up for 30% off.
  3. Just went in with two other fellows on a sealed series 7 box. With the split, I ended up with all of the black Knights, and all of the Viking Woman, among others.

As an army builder, I am extremely excited to accumulate large quantities of the Heroic Knight. While it is true that each knight would have his own heraldry symbols, most knights would wear the symbol of their liege lord. In addition, most of that heraldry would be based off of a related symbol for each of the lord's knights. That, and the fact I already have several of the Golden Knights will really allow me to bump up the might of the Crown forces.
  5. Shelob Attacks. The Fellowship is almost done.
  6. Robin never was quite the same after seeing what was under Batman's cape.
  7. I just picked up the Medieval Market Village, 4202 The Mine (tons of rocks and gold), and Flying Mummy Attack (for the Undead), all for $100.
  8. I just put mine together, and I love it. This is a great set.

Oh, I know it does. I was hoping that the cart would be considered the equivalent of a figure. Also, thank you for reminding me about the PoP set, I had completely forgotten about it.

I'm hoping the Cavalry Builder has at least 2 or 3 figures, rather than just one. If it is anything like Gandalf Arrives, it might have 3 figures and a horse?
  11. Offhand, has anyone in the States seen where the Uruk-Hai polybags are? I definitely want at least one. (I'm trying for the whole range from the beginning.)
  12. Thank you for the review. Just curious, does this set include any extra rings?
  13. That stand actually looks pretty good with the CMF. I might have some building to do.
  14. I just picked up another Uruk-Hai Army. I am jealous of those of you who have 12 of them.
  15. So since you have a copy of the set, is that a new print for Gollum?
  16. Back on subject though, the castle is a great build. It might be challenging for a 4 year old though. I can tell that you will enjoy the build, as it is all small bricks and plates, a welcome change from the large panels that the previous castles are made of.
  17. ^^Highlights mine.^^ From the Lord of the Rings sets, we ended up with three unique Frodo figures (barely unique, but still different.) We had two torsos, and two different cloak colors. I agree, and think the alternate expressions are going to differentiate the Bilbo figures.

Naturally, I am probably going to buy the hell out of this theme, as it is a return to Western. The Cavalry set is going to be the biggest buy for me.
  19. I mean, I am probably going to end up with all of them, largely as the Dwarfs are my favorite race in the books and films. That being said, the Warg Attack is probably going to be the first one I pick up, as it has both dwarfs, and Wargs.
  20. I think the big buys for me are going to be all three of them. I need the Dark Knight set largely because I worked on the film, and the Aquaman set looks great. Finally, while I am not enthralled with the flying car, Nick Fury in LEGO form is too good to pass up.

I agree with you, but it appears the rumors of Oriental pirates in Ninjago will not be happening. Hopefully something will surprise us...
  22. Just added Moria and Weathertop to the collection. With the next paycheck, I should have the LOTR range completed.
  23. I wish I could find them! For some reason my Walmart refuses to go down below $70.

I understand exactly what you mean. Brikwars is a great game, but I don't think it really works for a specific time period such as Pirates. (Historical free for all though, it is great.) I'm having some success basing some new rules off of Warhammer, but I completely feel your pain. PM me if you want to brainstorm a few ideas.
  25. To this, all I can say is: DNFTT.
