What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars minifigures?
Every time I see that figure, and the flesh equivalent, all I can think is "Since when were the Imperials that happy?" Still a sweet figure.

Rancor
That is a great model, and it actually still "works" in Digital. My only question is who is the rider on the real model?

Two things. 1) That is actually a great combination for Power Suit Batman. 2) Where did you get a Dark Knight Batman?

The 'Golden Age' of Lego, is it now?
I have to agree with you there. 2009 was a great year, as the main themes (Pirate, Space, Castle, and Town) were all going strong. It had the new Pirates, a new Fantasy castle theme, and I might be wrong, and if I am, please correct me, it was either the first or second year for the Modular for town. In addition, there were the 10th anniversary sets for Star Wars, including the introduction of the battle packs.

It has been decided, I need to work on getting these over here. That head/ helmet combination, and the G.B. logos are great!

Pick a Brick Royal Guard Instructions?
I was taking a look at Brickset, when I came across a listing for a PAB model of a Royal Guard. Apparently this was released in the U.K. for the Diamond Jubilee. Since I'm a British military army builder, does anyone have a scan of the instructions? I can't seem to find it at LEGO, or Peeron. Thanks! The set at Brickset

What date (time period) do you set your pirates in?
To be fair, for the actual army building itself, I actually go with around 1770's (the shako also works as a light infantry headpiece for the British in that time period.) For the army, some dates need a little fudging as there are shakos, bicornes, tricornes, bearskins, and the Balmoral for different units. Granted, because these are different units, the fudging isn't that great. Meanwhile, my pirates actually move into that era as well. Things are going to change, however, if the new Conquistadors from the CMF come out, as I will actually begin to shift time periods in regards to building (1550's-1650's).

Episode VI - Battle of Endor Diorama
The clash of the Imperial colors up against the vegetation and the Rebels really add to the scene. Great work!

10143 UCS Death Star II
I understand the frustrations with the delays, but the small scenes on the progress are making this build speed along. It is looking great!

LEGO Napoleonic Wars
I think we could possibly infer a few things from other themes in regards to what might come: 1) If we have a situation where it ends up being redcoats vs. bluecoats, we will probably see what they have done with the battlepack, so that coth sides will be included. 2) The Europa theme, with the Napoleonic war might not be as unlikely as we have initially thought. As of late the idea of LEGO producing a historical warfare theme has become a very real possibility. I am basisng this on the Russian and German Soldiers, and to some extent the Toy Story soldiers in Licensed themes, and the fact several real world military figures have now been produced (specifically U.S. Calvary in Wild West, and Roman legionaries, and the Palace Guards in the CMF.) Granted, while I do not think they will do a full theme, I do not think it is unreasonable to expect more accurate variation in the future.
