  1. Thanks for the news, j2g. The TDK Barmobile looks well done, for those of you into it. Easy pass for me, though.
  2. Nice find, Endgame! I wouldn't have noticed since I'm not really a gamer, but it's cool that LEGO gave the nod.
  3. Okay, here we go
  4. I'm sure it will be out for iOS eventually. And the site was for US-English, but I can't get there anymore. Wish I had done a screenshot because the text was funny.
  5. Lego.com/ultraagents
  6. I can't seem to get the app on the iOS app store yet. The microsite is up. But apparently not complete. You can go to each portion of Astor City and it says something like
  7. Still waiting for the free app that's advertised in the sets. I think June 1 is the official release date, so hopefully then. I'm curious how the app integrates with the sets, since it seemed to be a big talking point at Toy Fairs.
  8. Noooooo!!! He was so awesome. He and his female counterpart from the Friends sets. Emilstorm, you should be able to go to lego.com and look up instructions for a recent set and see it on the back cover. If no one else does, I'll post a pic tonight
  9. Castle, from mid 80s to early 90s. My favorites were the Forestmen, but my all time favorite castle was the Black Monarch's Castle. =D
  10. Walmart, Target, andLEGO stores usually get them maybe 1-2 weeks before official release date, so you may find them soon
  11. Awesome! With an official date of June 1, it won't be long now. Now I just need to decide if I'm going to get Riverside/Toxikita or Tremor/Infearno for this first round. Hmmm decisions.
  12. ...they'll buy these stolen (let's not use the euphamism "leaked") figures, then whine about the price of the X-Jet set or LEGO in general. Side dish of irony, anyone? ;)
  13. Possibly. Good news! Was that the US calendar?
  14. I won't buy them, personally. These knock off brands don't have the proper licensing rights from Marvel and DC, so I kind of have a problem with it. If someone wants to paint or sharpie their own figs for personal use, okay. Hoping LEGO superheroes keeps going long enough that we get more characters.
  15. The helicopter is well-built. I wasn't all that excited about it, since it's been helicopter overload with the Super Heroes sets. But it is still nice. Manbat is solid, but if you have one of the vampire bats from the Vampyre Castle, they work just as well. The obvious draw is Nightwing. Heis a great figure. True to the source material (New52), though I prefer blue-highlighted Nightwing. If not now, then later you could likely find this for about 20% off or more. Definitely worth it for that price.
  16. ^Sounds like a job for the Super Alpha Ultra Mega Agents 2.0 coming Summer '15.
  17. Will wait until I have them in hand, but right now I'm digging Tremor for his armor and fists and Psyclone with his turbines/props.
  18. 1. Extremis Seaport Battle: despite the fact that the boat and War Machine weren't in the movie, the set still has merits. The speed boat was a nice little build and the minifigs are cool. 2. Superman vs Power Armor Lex: great mech suit, two Classic heroes and a bad guy - all exclusive to this set. 3. Aquaman on ice. I love the sort of Batshape if the boat. Also I'm a sucker for Batsuit variants. Oh yeah, Freeze and Aquaman are well done too.
  19. the "Beware the Batman" cartoon
  20. To get my J'onn on (twice): Steamroller, Penguin, Spidertrike Delorean, Cinderella carriage, (plus metal beards duel) -all Easter basket stuffers
  21. Drock replied to Piranha's post in a topic in LEGO Licensed
Frank Miller Bat Tank. That's pretty dark though :D Batmobiles from Burton and Schumacher movies
  22. Great review! I'm really disappointed that this made from the cheap plastic :(. Mine should be here in a few days. I had to order online since the local LEGO store was sold out of everything I wanted (new SH sets).
  23. I agree with eldiano. Both vehicles in the set are pretty crappy renditions of on-screen vehicles that I didn't really care for in the first place. Gordon is okay. But movie versions of Batman and Bane? Yuck. I'm much happier with the classic figures from the Batcave. On the Marvel side, I'd have to agree that it's the Mandarin's flame-throwing golf cart of death. But I got it for $4, and it was worth it for the Iron Man suit.
  24. I would be really surprised. I'd bet she will be in a set in 2015, since we got Iron Fist in '12, Nova in '13, and Powerman in '14
  25. I'm still not liking the use of transparent pieces on Electro. The "tabs" inside the head and arms just stick out like a sore thumb.
