  1. I said the Two-Face Chase because the builds are good and do is the playability. The minifigs are secondary. I just focus in what is in a set and not what shoulda/coulda been. I prefer Two-Face's classic orange and purple color scheme too
  2. I remember that, too. I don't think they could do Groot in the Big Fig style of Hulk and Ultimate Green Goblin. His proportions aren't as beefy as those characters. Brick-built sounds better ;)
  3. I don't think the UCS Batmobile sold that well. IIRC, it was heavily discounted at LEGO.com (50% or more maybe), and it could be found on clearance for aound $20-30 at other retailers. It also hasn't gone up in value the way that the other Batman sets from 06-08 have. Maybe LEGO is trying the Nolanverse Batmobile now since that seems to be the quintessential Batman universe among the younger crowd.
  4. While reviewing the polybag Nolanverse Batmobile, Jason on the Brickshow said that his sources tell him there will be a Ultimate Collector version of it later this year. Interesting. Was really hoping the next Batman UCE set would be the Batwing.
  5. For DC, the Two-Face Chase. I love the Batmobile. It just feels nice and solid. Also, there is a lot of playability right out of the box with two vehicles and the bank. For Marvel, it's the Quinjet. It looks great and is extremely well put together.
  6. Thanks, Sci! I love the mobile HQ, but thry all look good
  7. I like the tremor track. The huge fists are campy and fun. Great set for $20. And lol at War Machine's torso...ahh, prelims
  8. I'm not sure about that Hurricane Heist. Feels too organic. LIke something out of Chima or Ninjago. The two Agents' vehicles look fun though. I see the squre with the word "mission" around the Astor guard figure. Is there a mission behind each set? I don't see that anywhere on the other boxes. Just curious.
  9. Really liking what we're seeing. The smallest set is okay, but those two larger ones are awesome. Finally, something decent for this year :D. It is a lot like the old Agents line, which is definitely a good thing
  10. I'm kind of expecting the x-jet to be more like the size if the jet from Hulk's Hellicarrier Breakout, rather than the Quinjet :(
  11. Thanks, Legofreak. I'm interested to hear what the DC "new range" is for 2015.

7784. The instructions are a pain to decipher, but once built, it's a thing of beauty. Nicely detailed snd well put together. The functions are cool too: the rotating flames and turbines that turn when the car moves, as well as the bat head on the front that flips up. I love the gold bat symbol hubcaps. I have a 5" action figure that fits perfectly in it to complete the look.
  13. At least that will give my wallet time to catch up. My daughter is in love with these sets. :). Looking forward to possible Belle, Snow White, and Aurora.

Brick rally, I would gladly fork over my cash for those sets ;). Unfortunately I think what we will get in 2015 is four Batman sets with one or two new heroes and villains, a redone Scarecrow, Joker variant, then 3-4 sets from MoS2. :(
  15. +1 to Monster Fighters. Didn't have any interest in the theme. Eventually, I decided I did want the Vampyre Castle. Expected it to be a one-off. I bought it, loved it, then scrambled to buy the rest of the theme, except The Zombies, which was long gone by the time I got into the theme.
  16. Not much planned for me. I know we haven't seen everything, but 2014 is kind of disappointing. I'll probably get: -Batman: Penguin Attack and Steamroller(already have the Manbat and Riddler sets) -all or most of the new Agents line -maybe some of the arctic stuff if I like it -Spidercopter maybe? That's pretty light spending compared to usual. Star Wars wax what got me [back] into LEGO. But it just hasn't been that appealing lately. We shall see.
  17. Thanks for the great review, Brick KIng! The Batman figure and the duck are pretty cool. The rest of the set...meh. I will be picking this up though as soon as it's available here in the US.
  18. I've seen both sides with my kids and their Christmas LEGO. My 5-year-old son asked my parents for the Golden Dragon. So far, I don't think he's touched the dragon at all since he and I (mostly I) built it. I think he really just wanted the Golden Ninja. He also got the Dragon Mountain and Gatehouse Raid. I saw that the Gatehouse is in a few pieces so he must be at least "attacking" it. His Castle minifigs and Dragon are all in pieces. That's how he signifies they are dead when he's playing. *Thank you very much, Traveler's Tales* My 3-year-old daughter got the Heartlake pool and the Dolphin Cruiser and she has been spending a lot of time driving around the boat, as well as playing with the minidolls in the pool and boat. I collected castle LEGO when I was a kid and the minifigs and castles were kind of inseparable. I wouldn't play with one without the other. :)

I'm sure they will be released here at some point. LEGO seems to be putting all of their marketing focus into The LEGO Movie right now, and little effort into anything else.
  20. Or they need to recoup a little more on the helmet mold that can only be used for Magneto ;)
  21. Great news! I was only collecting Star Wars LEGO when the last Agents line was out. But looking back on them, I wished I had gotten some or all of them :)
  22. Nice find, Robert. But that cantina looks kind of disappointing, based on what we can see. Another Landspeeder. Meh. Dewback and greedo are nice as well as the Squidward band. May or may not pick up this one.

Was really hoping for a GL:TAS set but I think that ship has sailed. Would have been great to have the ship with at least Hal, Kilowog, and Razer :( Also, I'm wishing for a new Battank. And an Ultimate Collectors Batwing.
  24. Not a bad design I suppose. It's not really one of my favorite Batmobiles, but I will buy it nonetheless just because it says "LEGO DC Superheroes"
  25. Does anyone know the American price of the steamroller set? I haven't seen that or the Penguin set yet.
