Crissmonster, Patience. Some people seem to think the January wave will be all DC and the Spring wave will be all Marvel (like 2012). Marvel sets could be based on CA:TWS, Guardians of the Galaxy, or Anazing Spiderman 2 if the rights have been acquired

I would wait. Right now, LEGO Exclusives like the Haunted House and Arkham Asylum are available from amazon itself at MSRP. So I'm thinking eventually the BttF set will be too

Orcsan, Can't go wrong with the Aquaman or superman set. Both are great! I like the build on the Aquaman better. Minifigs are about equal. However, Superman will likely be retiring soon, so I'd go for that one first. Or get both. My favorite 2012 DC set I'd the Batmobile/two face chase.

Human Torch: just orange/red with printed flames Mr Fantastic: just a normal fig Invisible woman: ?? Maybe the really pale blue color a la 'NRG Zane' minifig. Or maybe just normal Thing: similar to the Hulk but textured and with no hair

Oh dear lord. MOS was bad enough. Now they're going to further cram it down our throats. Snyder's brooding yet arrogant prick Superman doesn't seem like he will play well with others. Of course the movie will make shitzillions of dollars because Batman and Superman will be together. But it will likely be more of the same: great action movie with guys in funny costumes; lousy superhero movie.

SMC, that Batman was also in the jetski polybag from 2012. Doubtful that you could get it in stores, but you could try bricklink

I like the Batman. Though I prefer the classic one from the Batcave, this is a simple but not crazy variant. Batmobile looks good too. I'm not sure how I feel about the orange cockpit cover but we will see

lego freak, I think you're right that this whole January wave could be DC, with one non-Bats set. Wishful thinking, but I'm hoping the $/£20 set is from GL:TAS.

Really? I think that show's animation style would translate into some fugly minifigs. And we thought the Clone Wars figs were ugly ;)

Well, it seems likely that having a Batmobile in a regular set spells certain doom for the Batmobile currently under cuusoo review.

I'm a little disappointed that its The Riddler again, but the cars are nice. So is The Flash! Just hoping for a Batcopter too, Time for the 2014 thread? :p

Hoping to Green Lantern (John Stewart) or Flash. Probably shoehorned into a Batman set like Aquaman was. ;) Would love to see Batgirl as well...erm for my daughter to play with. Hopefully some cool new Batman villains as well. 1, maybe 2 sets from Thor:TDW.

Of course! LEGO would love to get more return on their investment in making the Hulk mold.

I wouldn't count on it for awhile. We just had Arkham I know what you mean though. Heck, I'd just like to see some 600-1,000 piece sets next year. This years sets topped out around 500 :(

TT, Which of last years sets are we talkin'? IMO, the Batmobile and Batwing are essential vehicles in Batman's arsenal. The Funhouse is pretty good because it has a lot if functions and the exclusive Harley and Riddler. The Batcave is okay, but I could take it or leave it. Same with the Catwoman sets. Arkham is great and detailed. If you're missing the Batwing or Batmobile sets, I'd get those because they are going to be gone soon. Arkham will likely be around for awhile longer because its a S@H exclusive.

Captain Nemo, I've always called my Joker goon "Bob" because of the jacket's resemblance to the Burton movie ;)

Batmobile/Two Face Chase: I absolutely love the Batmobile. It's perfect for a system scale set. Two Face's truck isn't too bad either. Great playability right out of the box with a ready made scene. Quinjet Aerial Battle: the jet is built solid and great to fly around. Batwing Battle...: two great vehicles. The Batwing may be a little lacking but it's nice to see that it isn't so ridiculously oversized like the2006 version.
