So TGL never released a set for the game(the first one) back then? This seems absurd by today's standard, just look at the amount of advertisement The LEGO Movie gets. Too bad they never made the Rocket Racer minifigure(the first one again, I've only played the first one), I too like to get one now just for the nostalgic feeling, though if TGL did released one it's going to be hard to find and expansive .

After some close inspection with my collection, I think your point is the main reason why TLG removed the holes. The phase I and mondo helmets you can clearly see a seam right at the center of the helmet, slicing it left and right. As for the phase II mold, I hardly notice any seams, especially the front of the helmet, indicating the mold is much more complicated than the previous ones.

Since you guys are already expecting a big set with many figures. wouldn't it make more sense for TGL to split the set to two, like what they did to Jabba's palace maybe? in that case, you'll get a set for the roasting scene, another for the Endor battle.
