  1. Glad you like it! 1: No, this is purely for aesthetics. You can modify it, but be sure to test the stand itself before putting the RC on it. The ship itself is about 3 kilos so test with 4 kilos. 2: Those are tiny pieces of red flex hoses. This was not included in instructions as is kind o a "hax" which might make these pieces with holes unusable if someone puts too small of a hose pieces there, so a bit oo much risk. 3: Not for now. I have some ideas for updates but nothing really major. I prefer to spend my lego time on making new MOCs!
  2. 1: Definitely possible to show on renders on photos. 2: The stand is not included, but instructions for the stand are free: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11SfMiMGVaY7CBWSgUCFUd3H424gJc0ZR/view?usp=share_link 3: No - TD is not a part of the classic trilogy. There must be a balance between amount of models in the bundle and total price.
  3. I didn't plan a full update, just a small one to extend pylons by 1 stud and make attachment point for new stand and the 4wide hatch, but there's a problem: my original instructions made in lpub no longer open in lpub and I don't remember which exact version I was using back then. So I'd basically need to make new instructions from scratch just to add these minimal modifications. It was a bit different in case of TF and TI, as they were basically total makeovers, but with defender, advanced and bomber I am mostly satisfied as they are. For now I prefer to spend my lego time on new MOCs instead of investing quite a lot of time to redo instructions so I could apply these minimal changes. Maybe just few photos showing how to do it would suffice for a while? TIE/d would be TIE Droid and this I indeed did not do ;)
  4. I like it, though it is missing a major detail: wing engines! Them being used in memorable escape makes them important and not having them is somewhat an issue. Other than that it seems to be a solid design. Btw, won't these inverted 1x4 slopes in such a large number be an issue regarding availability?
  5. I honestly doubt the author has any more knowledge about the ship than us here. So treat this as a loose interpretation at best. Altough I have to say, this is clearly a nice interpretation!
  6. To me this is the best M-1 starfighter built so far. Awesome job. Let's hope it lives for a little bit longer than the Razor Crest, considering how abusive Mando is towards his ships :D
  7. Well, it is ugly. And boring. So far it has been only 6 days since we discovered the boring ugly duckling is not boring and has some serious teeth. Considering this is a large ship and it will take a while to design and build some, I expect 2-3 weeks till we start seeing some quality MOCs of it, unless it ends its life tomorrow.
  8. Disney Star Wars is not bad, it gave us Mandalorian, Andor and Rogue one. Just stay away from the main saga and you're good.
  9. I don't approve the sea of studs, but considering this is easily fixable, that is a very nice build. For a long time I had a complaint that the SW team is visibly behind other design teams, but this is not true anymore. This and the new Razor Crest are truly fantastic sets.
  10. One thing though: Do you mean the time during opening/closing, or final positions? Because I intended it to work at final positions, but did not worry much if during opening the process was not entirely symmetrical - precisely because worm gears are not. I wonder if I instinctively put worm gears the same way and this is because it worked for me maybe? Hm. Anyway thanks for looking deeper into that. I might have been wrong about this whole issue having just one reason and you guys clearly are onto something.
  11. The thing is, all you need to do is *not* turn the gears until the whole assembly of the core is completed. It doesn't matter how you set up the gears initially, because when you slide in the parts with 8-tooth gears from the front&back, they will accept any position on the worm gears. However, if you turn the gears *after* you slide in 8-tooth gears, the wings will become misaligned. I think the simpliest solution would be a mention in the instructions that the gears should not be turned until whole assembly is complete.
  12. No - sadly. The top half of the MOC is its structural core, so while there is the lower deck with a bed, there is no way to connect it with upper deck without a very serious compromise to structural integrity. I wanted my model to be swooshable and if you are strong enough it certainly is, but at a cost of interior.
  13. No problem with sharing the parts list. Thanks! This does indeed look very good! ^^
  14. Now I wonder why I didn't think of that color before. Eh.
  15. I never build to exact numerical scale. I always scale to the most probleatic part/area. Glad you liked it! ^^ That said, I scaled the ship to Mando's height when standing in the side doorway, and everything else kinda followed that. Cockpit just kinda fit.
