I just opened a Fire Brigade and it contained the apparent "new" packaging of manuals - they were wrapped together with a stiff piece of cardboard in a sealed bag. Took me by surprise, nice change!

In the US at least, if you look at Amazon it lists the Green Grocer as a "discontinued" item on the product page "Discontinued by manufacturer: Yes". (if you check other LEGO sets there you'll notice Amazon seems to accurately tell you which sets are out of production). Cafe Corner is not, yet. I also got an email from LEGO at the end of May telling me not to "miss" the chance to buy the Green Grocer. Maybe just a guess, but is the Green Grocer going away first maybe?

I just bought one this weekend at Legoland CA, very nice and was only $12.99 USD...
