  1. Hi Mario.I just recently discovered your software and started to use it to create an inventory of all my bricks. While entering a large number of bricks I came up with a few things that could make the software even more useful: A function to clone parts in other colors. Currently if I have a "Liftarm 1 x 3 Thick" in red in my database, I have to reenter ID, Description, etc. if I want to add the same part in black. A function to clone the entry which will just ask for the new color would be great. Speaking of colors: I found it very time consuming to enter my parts because I always had to scroll through the huge list of colors. Wouldn't it be a good idea to add a most recently used list to the top of the color selection box? This would allow you to enter parts of the same color very quickly. It also would help if the color selection box would only show the "Known Colors" from BrickLink for a given part. Would it be possible to change the "Add Brick" dialog to have a "Search" and an "Advanced Search" button where "Search" runs a search directly on what was entered in the "LDD Part ID" or "Description" field and "Advanced Search" would run what is now behind the "Search..." button? [EDIT:] I just noticed that the export missing parts to HTML function doesn't generate correct inline images. All image tags look like this: <img width="100" height="100" src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORwo="/> Many thanks for your excellent software! Reiner.
  2. No, the "Yellow Technic, LIftarm 1 x 6" is not the first item it tries to retrieve. It first retrieves data for a number of other parts fine. Here is the bsx file that I use: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21387772/mower_kombiniert_v3.4.bsx Bricklink.com is in English. Brickficiency is set to search in "DE" only.
  3. A possibility to restrict the "Export BOM" function to the current selection would be very useful. Also a new tab with the Bill of Materials/the list of currently used and/or selected bricks would be very useful. For Technic models, it would be great if the gray base plate layer could be switched of to better view models from underneath. Empty groups should be deleted automatically.
  4. Thanks for the nice and usefull program. I noticed however a few things that you maybe could add in a next version: A "Back" button would be nice. Currently if you select a wrong file or no solution is found, there is only the "Quit" button. To go back to the previous stage would be great. It should also be possible to copy&paste the result/error message. I for example get an error message "It appears that no stores that a> ship to you and b> are in your list of valid countries have this part." for a "Yellow Technic, LIftarm 1 x 6 Thin" but this part is available from a number of German shops that ship to German customers. But I have to type the whole error message into this post because I can't copy & paste this message. A file open dialog that uses a file mask to show only supported *.bsx files.
  5. @pat-ard: I have currently the crane and the snow plow, the next one will be a salt spreader. Later maybe a trailer. For the snow plow, I plan to change the plow shield from gray to orange as soon as I have the right parts.
  6. Definitely my 8110. With as many addons as it can carry :-)
  7. Does anybody have a description on how to replace the steering with a PF Servo Motor? Pat-Ard has posted some pictures in post #1322 but I can't really figure out how to mount the servo in a way that it doesn't collide with any parts on the frame - especially the lower 16 tooth gear that drives the 4-cylinder motor model.
  8. @jovel: I think your idea is more stable - I will modify mine with your recommendations:
  9. The C1 and C2 lines use 9V PWM. To control them with an Arduino, you will need to use two PWM output pins to drive a transistor that will switch the 9V from the LEGO connector. Have a look at this http://www.w9xt.com/..._switching.html article which explains the principle.
  10. Thanks for the shop link. I think I will give it a try.
  11. Turning it around will not help as it is the inner part that blocks the space: I need something that is fixed to the outside of the dark gray liftarm and does not consume any space on the frame inside.
  12. @Balrog: Do you have by chance still a link to the Ebay seller where you got the 3rd party hoses?
  13. Hi all, I was wondering if somebody here could give me some advice for a modification to my 8110 that I am planing: I would like to drive the rear PTO with a separate remote controlled M motor. The motor would fit nicely in the rear part of the frame except for the connector that is used to connect the panhard rod to the frame. I think this is a 92907 connector. I am now looking for a clever and stable solution to attach the pall pin for the panhard rod in a way that does not require any space on the insight of the frame. Reiner
  14. Thanks for all the hints. I will try it with heat then. It might be the best idea then to not play too much with the connections once they are in place. I was hoping that somebody has found something non-LEGO that could be mis-used as a quick release hose coupling
