  1. Mini instruments from BrickForge are here! Bring down the house by creating your own minifig rock band. Both the Acoustic and Electric Guitar feature a 1.5mm half-round neck and rear connection point so your guitarist can tap and thrash all night long. The Violin features similar components and works well with a string quartet or fiddling on a roof. A set of Drumsticks round out the set - giving your drummer some tokens to toss into the crowd at the end of the show. Don't forget to place a few of our Microphones at center stage before raising the curtain. It's going to be a great show! Additional colors available soon. You can pick up these great new accessories as well as many others at the BrickForge Store!
  2. Inspired by MacLane's CubeDudes. Marvin the Martian: "Brace yourself for immediate Cube-ification!" Popeye the Sailor: "I yam what I yam!" Superman: "...strange visitor from another planet who came to Earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men... Superman!" Rocket J. Squirrel "But that trick never works!" Also, new photo setup! Enjoy!

Anakin vs. Obi-Wan by Sir Gecko. Ever since it's originally posting, I have admired the stunning construction of the "columns" and the great lava effects, as well as the minifig posing.
  4. Those are pretty cool, nice work! May I suggest that you make some of the accessories (knives, belt buckles, etc.) a bit larger? They'll show up better when printed minifig-size that way.
  5. I vote for the 1st version, if you're going for accuracy to the movies (see the included image). If you would rather have playability, go for the 3rd.
  6. LEGO does seem to like making sets with large catapult-ish things in them.
  7. Hound Knight replied to Hound Knight's post in a topic in Special LEGO Themes
Aha, I am sometimes unsure of what qualifies as an "Historic Theme". Thanks for moving it.
  8. Personally I would consider at least parts of the Lord of the Rings (and related books/movies etc.) to be "swashbuckling adventure", in addition to purely historical-based stories. Along the lines of what you're talking about Artifex, I would like to see some "hero" characters incorporated into the new Kingdoms series, meaning somewhat rare figures with cool outfits and equipment, not to mention some kind of name and backstory.
  9. I agree with you that general interest in this era has been/ will be increased, especially with the movies Eagle of the Ninth and Centurion coming out in the near future. I guess we can just hope that LEGO picks up on this.
  10. Haha, I love it! The posing of the characters is great, and your Firebird is exquisite!
  11. Rittmeister von Hammer attempts to take out an easy target. Enjoy!

Rebel leader Jarman Kell attacks a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (Humvee). Gallery here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=437809 Enjoy!

Commonly known as "raptors" these small but ferocious creatures are assumed to have hunted in packs like wolves. Enjoy! Note: I'm not sure if I put this in the right sub-forum or not...

Produced in great numbers by Exfearion Enterprises, these 'bots make excellent "grunt" infantry units for planetary conquest or defense. Enjoy!
  15. I love your minifigure designs, your presentation adds a lot to them as well. The design process used is also quite interesting.
  16. "If we are mark'd to die, we are enow To do our country loss; and if to live, The fewer men, the greater share of honour." - Shakespeare (Henry V) Inspired by the epic Kenneth Branagh film version. Enjoy!
  17. A Native American warrior, wielding a custom war-club. Enjoy!
  18. Hound Knight replied to Sir Gecko's post in a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Haha, that's awesome Gecko! NPU with the "blood".
  19. Nice fort, I like the window in the tower and the red brick detailing.
  20. Hound Knight replied to Tycho McKorley's post in a topic in Pirate MOCs
This is indeed an excellent fortress, all the details in it really make it stand out. One of the many features that stood out to me was your technique for the partially submerged crocodile, I might have to borrow that sometime. Your fort will also be a fun challenge when we Bluecoats decide to capture it.
  21. Hound Knight replied to Sir Gecko's post in a topic in Watto's Junkyard
That's certainly an epic scene Gecko, great job! And good luck in the contest!

Very good MOC Zepher, I like your "horse thing". Nice idea for the saddle. *is blinded by red pictures* Gah!
