  1. I like the vehicles, they've got a 1950s retro futuristic look.
  2. I've got up to £40 burning a hole in my pocket and I want to spend it on Lego, themes I'm interested in are Star Wars, Indy and Power Miners. The only set I own from those themes is the Power Miners Thunder Driller. Could someone recommend me happy please?
  3. very clever! I like messing around with remote control vehicles, but I never manage to make any thing that looks good as well.
  4. I'm sure you can still get them online from Argos. Definitely worth it, I really enjoy adding remote control to my other creations.
  5. Hmm I think we might be getting stitched up by the exchange rate. The cherry picker is on there for £51, I'm sure I only paid £40 for it. Either that or there's some issue with power functions pricing. The Snow Groomer actually seems to be pretty reasonably priced.
  6. Hmm I wasn't that interested in 8263 but the alternate looks great. Will probably end up getting it now. Love the alternate for 8258 as well.
  7. Great stuff as always. Have you ever considered allowing some sort of religious right to reply to the site? Some of the revelations images are mad when taken at face value, but I'm assuming that there's heavy symbolism in there, and in other sections of the bible.
  8. I'll probably get it, that image still looks a bit preliminary, so there might be more changes on the way. Lots of wheels and tyres, which is always good.
  9. I'd prefer an evil race, goblins, or demons. Maybe a giant balrog type monster.
  10. Space Police and the new Castle sets are available at the lego shop in milton keynes. Not sure about other themes as I'm not that familiar with them. Apart from Technic, which isn't there.
  11. Hi, I'm thinking of buying the above set, and I wondered what the forum view on it was. I bought 7037 Tower Raid at the weekend, and I think it's great little set, how does 7094 compare to it? Are there other older castle type sets that are better? The medieval market village set looks like good value, but I really need a centrepeice castle set. Thanks,
  12. How do I know what exchange rate is used by a Bricklink store? If I have wanted list with say 100 parts in it, and I order 60 parts from one bricklink store, are they automatically removed from my wanted list leaving me with 40 parts?
  13. I got 8856 off ebay for £18 recently. Not a ridiculous amount of peices, but a fun complicated build compared to newer sets, and lots of functionality.
  14. Anyone been to the Lego Shop in Milton Keynes recently? Thinking of making the trip tomorrow morning and wondered what it's like. Is it boxes of lego stacked as far as the eye can see, with lots of interesting old sets at cheap prices, or is it a small shop with the same sets I'd find in toys r us?
  15. 8292 was my reintroduction to the world of technic, and I think it's a really good set.
