Ideas for a UCS Set/s for Indy
The idea of a ucs indie set is very appealing but it seems to be a star wars thing only. I got all excited by this topic title because I thought it was news on a ucs set. Oh well, we can hope.

Interesting little read, curious that nothing better is going on in NYC than to talk about LEGO Don't get me wrong I love LEGO but most of New York probably doesn't care. Good for LEGO.

Nice review, I wish these were available in the US, LEGO sure raised the bar with free promo sets, a free stormie, who would have guessed.

Mafstraw Manor: Sign Up
I'd love to pay if there is a spot open for me. I'm on mon-fri 7-4 at least, I have no vacations planned and I've been reading about these games and would love to try one. I'm on EB a lot, in fact there is apparently some controversy on if I'm here too much. I love mystery's and think it would be fun, I won't let you down if you slot a spot open for me. Nick

What's your favourite Lego colour?
Great topic but really hard to choose. I'd say dark blue or alot of the trans clear colors. Like trans green or red. I wish there were more things they could make in the trans clear colors.

Adult Collecting vs. Play
I have the same problem with my wife, she likes LEGO's too but doesn't like me dropping $100 on a single set, she thinks it's too expensive of a hobby.

Well the 3S-GTE engines should eb easy to find on ebay but they are getting old. They haven't made them in a good number of years so parts might start becoming scarse. I think you'd have much better luck going with the Mitsu's EVO engine, it's newer and more efficient as well as more available. My guess is 10,000-15,000 on the 3S-GTE, the EVO engine will cost more off the back but excluding the cost of the enige you could reach 350-450 for under 10k for sure. It all depends on the parts you go with. Also it would depend on how much custom fabrication may or may not be needed to get the engine to fit in the chasis you are using.

Green Grocer on Sale: LSAH U.S.
Ah, good point, I take back my suggestion. Can't expect them to discount it for everyone early.

Custom Buster Sword
The fig that originally came with the hair looks so much bigger than a minifig. Did you only have to dremel off the peg, or did you have to dremel down the hair too?

Adult Collecting vs. Play
WOW. That was deep, and so very true. Kind of sad in the end.

Money 500hp is no problem from those motors. The '3S-GTE' was used in the early 90/s celica's. the all-trac ones, I knew a few people with those and they easily tuned them close to 300bhp with very little, mostly external modifications. If you do it right and spend the right amount of money, you could easily make a realiable 500bhp daily driver.
