I moderate two forums so I know what you are talking about. Sometimes there are differances which can't be overcome. This isn't a free speech democracy, it's a private forum funded by most likely a few, or even one.

LEGO Star Wars 2009 Sets and Rumours
Don't the LEGO stores usually get EVERYTHING, just like SHop@home???? I know they had the Hoth set which was only Toys R Us, wait right?? Well either way I know I got one of mine there.

Congratulations
It's possible, but the posts are fake. On froums as an administrator you have access to change anything you want, he just changed his post count to say that number, lots of admins do it on forums. No, not at all, just curiosity stirring up

Pirate Island with harbor mountain beach and many more
wow, that is purely awesome, I can't imagine the hours spent on that. Great job!!!

What is your EB Signature all about?
Mine is simply a link to my flickr account, (which has nothing in it right now) I will soon add a favorite lego pic from an upcoming review.

I read in the thread that explains admin/mod/vassal/knight and all those, that's it's an inside joke between a few people. EDIT: well that's better than my explanation.

Star Wars sets anyone?
Thanks for your input. I am seriously thinking about getting like 3 or 4 of the Echo base becasue the set is just so great for the money. I'm going to a Lego Store tomorrow (4 hours away so I don't get there often) What is the one thing you guys think I must leave with, I'm a collector and a set purist, so I keep my sets together, which is the must have set right now? I already have 4 chrome stormtroopers but I'll probably pick up a few more.

LEGO Star Wars 2009 Sets and Rumours
Bingo bango, I was going to post this. I read like 15 posts about the CW TV show. I can't wait for the supposed hoth battle pack.

Lego Collector Book
Very good point.

How much would one fully equipped jango fett minifig cost?
Bricklink will give you the best idea on prices, but I always think if it's more than you paid for it and worth it to you, the price is right!

I'm Leaving! I'm Coming Back! Do it all HERE.

What are you listening to?
Lex and Terry, I listen to them every morning at work. Otherwise slacker radio on my Blackberry

Lego Collector Book
Sweet, in for pictures, I'd like something like this, but I'd be afraid of the new sets next year and the next, not being in it.
-
You know you are a fan of Lego when...
When you try to figure out ways to convince your wife to let you get a new set. It's tough, women don't understand grown men wanting to buy toys.

Cold and Flu remidies
Chicken soup and alot of rest, sounds cliche but it always works for me. Catch up on some TV.

LEGO Purism
To me a good lego set up or picture needs 100% lego but the location or background can definetaly be none lego. Did I just contradict myself?

Greetings, one and all!
Only 814 posts late, that's not too shabby!

Oh, sorry, I though tthat was a term used across most forums. OG stands for Original Gang, or basically older members who have been around along time. Maybe they were here when the forum started up, or with really low member numbers indicating they have been members for many years. I come from a car forum and photography forum and it's a term I picked up there.
-
Congratulations
As a newer member, I've been reading through some old threads, adn I noticed that there are alot of OG members who are banned, makes me wonder what they did wrong.

I can't explain that image but I just read this thread again, and thought, don't all these badges leave peopel out? I could see some younger users (this is lego anyway) who might get hurt by not having logo's when others do. Plus isn't that alot of stuff to keep track of for the staff. Either way, just an observation, plus I think it would be cool to have every single icon in a thread so we can look up what they mean. I know there is a thread for admin/vassl/moderator, and such, but all the little icons I think are uncateloged?

The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy
I'd love to join the reviewers academy. I am heavy into the Star Wars set's and I'm interested in the Indie ones, but money is a factor. On the plus side, I have numerous sets complete with instructions from the late 80's and early 90's that I could build and review (shows my age). Plus I have a Nikon D40, a super fast internet connection and a flickr account.
