  1. Nice work Skipper 24 Some great shots there- love the one where the stormie's hanging upside down I went out for some shots as well, but didn't have much luck- way it goes sometimes. Tried for some beach shots, but left it too late and the beach was packed!. Got a quick indy shot in though Not my fav shot, but thought id up something. I take indy out for shots a lot, but can never get the light right on his face cause of his big hat! Took a quick stormie shot when i got home as i was fed up i couldn't get the outdoor shots i wanted
  2. Thanks Def post up some of your shots in this thread- be very cool to see em Thanks for the comments roncanator and danthebrick, will prob get a new torso vader at some point but he's fairly low down on my priorities list given the amount of vaders i already have, and all the great sets coming out this summer
  3. Cheers Yeah i know i completely forgot to put his cape on!, wasn't till i was looking at the shots afterwords a noticed- but couldn't be bothered to shoot em again though
  4. Cheers for the comments Guys, Couple of new ones- ^^^ Father & Son ^^^ this one was lit with the light from my infrared mouse!, was just messing about with it but kinda liked how it turned out
  5. Nice shots Dan Love the first 2- they look great against the skyline. Its good to see some vehicle shots, i really need to do some more of those.... perhaps it is worth editing the title of the thread to 'Star Wars Lego Photography'? KimT can you do that?- don't think im able to do that though correct me if im wrong. Speaking of which here's a shot of my Modded At-St i took the other day out in the forest-
  6. Oh god im triple posting! Oh well i promise to add no more until someone else adds some of their shots Come on everybody, get some shots in of your minifigs! anyways here's another- ^^^ "Do you not think we're gonna stand out a bit here?..." The Empire never were ones to let common sense get in the way of their uniform choices on Endor.
  7. smokebelch replied to smokebelch's post in a topic in LEGO Star Wars
I've made a few small tweeks, and took it out for some manuvers on Endor so thought id share a quick shot
  8. Apologies for the double post, but had a bit of a mammoth shooting session the other day, and thought id up a few more ^^^ Ever get the feeling your being followed?
  9. Thanks Danthebrick, and cool shots Commander Rob Another new one from yesterday- was making the most of the sunshine ^^^^ "Don't just stand there, help me get it down!" ...this happened right after this shot and just shows what happens if you show off! Cheers Natman, yeah there will be some more Tusken shots along soon
  10. Hehe, yeah i know- its a little known fact I wasn't going to up the shot cause of the tree's, but its just that one shot turned out way better composition wise Heres another more tatooiney shot of the Gonk- And some skiff shots i took yesterday- ^^^ "Jabba! This is your last chance. Free us or die!" Boba's gonna need a new gun... ... though i guess thats the least of his worries considering where going to end up in a few minutes!
  11. Thanks Skipper and Danthebrick New shot from today- "I wandered lonely as a Gonk"
  12. Thanks Ras 74 ^^^ Sometimes the little things in life are the best
  13. "fraid there's not much left!" "...I didn't hit it that hard, musta had a self-destruct!"
  14. Thanks There'll be loads more sand trooper/ sand shots to come im sure As JCC pointed out I use a fujifilm S8100- near the top of page 4 of this thread i posted a bit about my set up if your interested
  15. Cool shot legoloco- love the angle and DoF , As Tim said could be an idea to use a backdrop for it, even just a green bit of card to give it a bit more of an endor feel, but great shot anyways
  16. Hehe nice titles/ captions aramor & posades Here's a good one someone left on my flickr which made me smile- "Is it just me, or is there a draft in here..."
  17. Not digging the 'backpacks' on the endor rebels, but at least they have a back-printed torso, so will prob just have them without their packs
  18. Took this shot ages ago, i could never think of a title for it, but it always made me smile. In the end came up with this shot instead- ... but was having a look through some old shots today, and the top one made me laugh so i thought id post it up and see if anyone could come up with a good title for it... :) Any ideas???
  19. Nice work Jammiedodger714 The first one in the grass in my fav- some nice depth of field with the troopers in the background. If you find brickshelf is degrading the quality of your photos, try putting them on flickr (its free for a regular account) Quick new shot of some 'slimy worm ridden filth'
  20. Thanks very much Thanks legoloco, took me a long while to get a lighting set-up i was happy with. Tried making a softbox but didn't really work, the ipod is such an easy way to light stuff indoors, and so flexible for getting the light from diff angles/ creating shadows. Im lacking in inspiration for shots at the mo, be cool to see yours (or anyone else's) Post em up!
  21. Hehe too true Nice work on the photo- Wow thats some giant slow worm! Good luck getting your shot, I hope he stays still long enough to get what you want Thanks Guss
  22. 4504 for me Always liked Star Wars lego, but found a lot of the older sets somewhat lacking- the redesigned Falcon was my first SW Lego purchase and still one of my favourites
  23. Nice work Really like the angle on the bottom 2- gives them a nice sense of scale. Really good job on these- its pretty time consuming getting shots of minifigs isnt it Yeah the focus can be really hard to get just right, usually at least half of mine will be ruined cause of the focus being wrong- You should see the amount of shots i get through just to get one good one! Keep em coming- I want to see more
  24. Thanks guys, glad your still enjoying my shots New Tusken Raider one from todays morning walk along the beach -
