Chrysler and Dodge are the same company. Only difference with most of there models is the sheet metal. Chassis, engine, transmission are all the same with models built on the same chassis.
  2. The Sauber team is going to be a force on the track. Kob. was very impressive racing in Glocks place for the last few races in 09'. As for Renault, i'm thinking your right KimT, Grosjean will more than likely take the second seat. At least he deserves to.

XBOX has never, and probbly never will do well in Japan. They are very loyal to Sony and especialy Nintendeo. Always has, always will.

I believe he's captured the look very well. It resembles a long bed American Pickup truck with the rear wheels being placed back rather than the center of the bed. Very nice!

I would welcome a remake of that set. I too wished i could have had that when i was little. I doubt that Police cars would be the same as in 05 though. maybe the motorcyles, but the cars and trucks hopfully are a little different.

Didn't need to. I was long out of school with my own ride. I had a VW GTI back then.

New police for 2011'? I sure don't fear it. In fact, i welcome it. I think a new police station is a strong possibility, as are new harbor sets. I think a civilian Yacht would be pretty cool. As well as a truck with boat of some sort.
  8. Also now we can have one trash can for Garbage, and one for recycling. Great for houses or even in the back of the modular buildings! I recieved this set for Christmass and love it! Very simple, yet lots of playability.

LOL. Really? how so? I know i have a few american cars/trucks, but i thought my list was spread out. It also used the exact same chassis as the VW Bettle/Jetta/Golf uses. I used to tease my dad that he had a "rich mans beetle" LOL! Now how did i know you were going to pick that? Good choice little buddy!

my dad had two TT's. His first was a TT Quattro with the 180hp 1.8T motor. He modded a bit with a Rieger body kit, H&R coilover suspension, Neuspeed intake (i think they went out of business some years ago), Borla exhaust, custom stereo, 18" wheels and tires, custom painted engine covers, polished strut tower brace, Apexi gauges, Brembro brake rotors. He also had the Audi rings in vinyl on the outside of the car. Normally i don't car for vinyl on the outside of cars or trucks, but it looked really nice and tasteful. Definitely not a "girly" car. His second was the 225hp LMAS edition. He took it easy on the mods for this one. This one had 19" rims, custom intake, ARP chip, and Borla exhaust. Very nice car, but it had alot of issues. Traded it in for a Pontiac GTO which he still has. As for what cars I'd have, this is what i came up with... City car: VW GTI Small family car: Scion XB Large family car: Cadillac CTS-V Executive car: Luxury Car: Cadillac CTS-V Sports car: BMW M3 Grand tourer: I honestly don't know. What is the definition of a "Grand Tourer"? Supercar: Corvette ZR1 Convertible: Mustang GT 500 Roadster: Nissan 350Z Minivan: Ford Windstar..... I guess. 4x4: Toyota FJ Cruiser (Oh wait, i have one! ) Pick-Up: Dodge Ram 3500 with a Cumin's Diesel engine If its OK, I'd like to add a couple... Muscle car: Dodge Challenger SRT8 Classic car: 69' Chevy Camaro SS/RS or a 70' Plymouth Cuda AAR Good discussion Joey Lock!
  11. I remember seeing posters for all the characters over the summer. This movie looks great! I plan to go opening day and see it in D. I agree that American McGee's version would have been more entertaining as well as more "fitting" for an "Alice in Wonderland" movie. Even when i was little i always saw Alice and wonderland as being a bit...Out there. One has to wonder how Alice didn't go syhco dealing with chasing a rabbit, babbling fat twins, and skitsofrentic cat and a 'Mad Hatter".

So by your logic, everything that is expensive is aimed at adults, and cheap stuff is aimed at kids? So i guess since bikes are expensive, they also must be aimed at adults. As well as children's furniture. Because adults have the money to buy their kids toys does not mean the set or any for that matter were aimed at them (adults). Parents have always bought toys for their kids. And yes, some will buy there kids the expensive sets as well. Thats how its always worked. I suggest you look at the "what age are you again?" thread in the community section. You'd be surprised just how many yr olds are on this site. Besides that, its not uncommon for yr or younger to be surfing the web.

He lie to us, then insults us and your defending him? No one was pestering him. Only calling him out on his lies and letting him know that were not going to stand for it.

Sigh... I don't understand why it so difficult to understand that these sets rare made for kids, and not AFOL. Whats kids want- have, and always will decide what sets TLC design. Yes, once in a while we get USC sets or CC or fire Brigade type sets, but when TLC takes a poll for an upcoming set from a website for a toy store-IE- toysrus then one should expect that set to be aimed at kids. I think these are great ideas. Although i doubt we'll be getting a motel of any type. Truck stops generally don't have motels since most truckers stay in their trucks. I expect to see a Diner, gas station of course, an overhead covered area for trucks at rest, and possibly a little shop and even a repair bay. As for trucks, -Flat bed -Small tanker truck -box trailer -civilian car/SUV with family -truck without a trailer No it wasn't. It was simply liked to this website but was hosted on TRU main website. People really need to stop pouting and complain that TLC isn't paying attention to them when they realize a set that isn't to there liking. We don't represent the whole of the Lego community. Having said that, i do believe that TLC does listen and cater to AFOL. This is why we have USC sets, as well as modular sets such as Café Corner, Green Grocer, and Fire Brigade. These sets all have higher detail and more advanced building techniques than your average city sets.

Please just stop. You've been caught in a lie and your response and reasoning is rather pathetic. You've lost everyones trust and respect. At this point, anything you say is going to be considered a lie since its obvious you haven't done any of things you claim to have done. So save yourself further embarrassment and just leave.
  16. So today at work, one of my coworkers informed me that there was a Lego chanel on his satellite TV provider Com cast. He told me the show that came on was about the making of the new city Bulldozer. He's not into Lego at all but said it was pretty cool how they went into the design aspect of the whole model from inspirational pictures, to preliminary designs, to the final model. So has anyone had an opportunity to check this out? It appears this is only availer for Com cast members until the end of January. P.S.- Oops, can a mod please fix my title. Miss spelled "Channel". Sorry about that.

Notice he hasn't replied to anyone concerning "his" Charger. I'm with you. I think he's full of it.
  18. Very well said.

You obvioucly haven't seen the movie or weren't paying attention. It has everything to do with the movie and topic at hand that was being discussed. Where did you here this? ast i heard a couple weeks ago it hasn't even recouped half of its production cost. http://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/2009/...-us-records.htm Although it has broke a U.S. record for release in december, it has hit 236,000,000 world wide. that was just before Christmass. Kind of odd that it would hit $1 billion in profit in less than 1 month after its release.

You are correct. But the trigger on the PS3 controller doesn't feel like a trigger to me. And has minimal travel. Also the trigger was just part of the reason. The whole feel of the controller just doesn't feel right. To small and skinny. Ya, i remeber this feature being on my orignal Xbox, but never cared for it. For racing, it was useless. As you said, minimal travel and very difficult to controll your revs with a button. I don't miss this feature from my Orignal Xbox at all. My console of choice is the PS3, but I still own a XBOX 360 as I wanted to play Lost Odyssey. I prefer the PS3 for many reasons, including; But you still need to charge your controller regaurdless. And if the charge runs out while playing, you need to plug it in to the console. Alot easier to just replace a couple of batteries. I will give you that the PS3 is virtualy stealth. I've only had the turbine sound on one game i have. Other than that its not bad at all. Yes, but it also costs more. And the big hard drive is not standard. It still doesn't even come close to the online comunity of the 360.
  21. Thanks for the links for the rules guys. I wish there were some competions around my area. Sounds like fun!

Cool topic SWMAN. My first console was an Xbox. I wanted the Xbox because it carried a couple games that i really liked that were exclusive to it. I was surprised buy my girlfriend with an Xbox 360 a month after its release. Even if it wasn't a gift, i still would have preffered a 360 over a PS3 or Wii for a few reasons. 1.- I preffer racing simulators and at the time the 360 had the best selection. To this day i still preffer the game selection of the 360 over other consoles. Namely Forza Motorsports and Project Gotham racing. 2.- Online play on the 360 is by far superior to any other console. 3.- I never liked the controller of the playstation consoles. After a short time of playing the controller hurts my hands and fingers. The controller for the Xbox is much more confortable for me. And for racing sims, i feel the Xbox controller is better due to its index finger trigger. It allows you to gradually controll the speed, versus just pressing a button. Either your full on the trottle, or off. No good. These make the 360 my preffered console.
  23. No. Lego is not stealing your designs. Its just a simple enclosed box trailer. Nothing really special. There's not a whole lot you can do to change that.

I'd alos like to see some pics of the resoration. You said you bought all these gifts for yourself cause your parents say your to old for Christmass, so this leeds me to believe your very young. Not calling you a liar but it is unusual for someone under the age of 18 can aqurie so many expensive things on there own. So i hope you can understand if some people are scepticle. I think it would be really cool to see some pic of you working on your ride as well as some interior shots as well as the engine. Speaking of engine, what motor is in it?
