  1. The price is indeed excellent value. And to think a real EC230 costs thrice as much as a standard EC220E!
  2. Trust me, you are not the only builder to mangle a pin! Great job on the CAT so far, and good luck for the rest!
  3. Thanks, Roy. Yup, tried restarting my phone and still nothing. Uninstalling the app is the one thing I haven't tried, so I guess I'm stuck with that. EDIT - That worked! Thanks.
  4. For some weird reason, most of the vehicle profiles on the CONTROL+ app won't load. It gets stuck on the loading screen, and I can't return to the main screen so I need to close the app. I've tried everything - clearing the cache, turning on Bluetooth before I launch the app, forcing a firmware update on the hub. What's going on?
  5. Funnily enough, the first occurrence of teal was in Technic.
  6. Couldn't you just buy an actual table and wobble it?
  7. Squirrel is my fave as well, but that fox is also majestic! Definite want.
  8. Looks better with the original tyres if you ask me. Nice job - we really don't have enough scrapers in Technic.
  9. I hope the EC230 actually does use a bucket, rather than reusing the clamshell from the EW160E.
  10. Nook's Cranny is one of the sets being released in March.
  11. The EC230 is a mid-range excavator, so I'm definitely thinking it'll be at the same scale as the EW160E, seeing as it's more or less the same size. Bucket sizes vary, so it's anyone's guess right now as to what the bucket part is gonna be.
  12. Wonder if the EC230 is gonna be pneumatic like the EW160E. Or is it gonna use the black LAs from the CAT?
  13. They'd go great on oil exploration equipment and fuel trucks, though.
  14. Come on Mabel and Sable!
  15. The FMX is primarily designed as a tipper, so I'd think the set version would be as well. Hopefully it'll come with rubble!
  16. I was looking back through my Earthmovers mags and found the EC230 splashed across the front page of the September '23 issue, along with a gigantic in-depth article! Anyway, I wonder what bucket is gonna be used, based on the scale.
  17. Given that the part count is about 2200 parts, that gives each vehicle roughly 1100 parts. It'd be totes amazeballs if the EC230 were the same scale as the EW160E.
  18. Meet the Volvo FMX. And the Volvo EC230.
  19. Well, bought and built this 🐕, and, well... This may be the most flimsy model I have ever built. The cab is especially egregious in this regard; the pillars aren't fixed in place, and so the roof isn't either. The steering wheel and seat assembly pops off if you sneeze near it, and the beams actually supporting the cab move out of position easily. Other small details aren't even fixed in place! And the header? Okay, I think we've covered the blade direction. But because the whole thing is yellow, the function isn't even that visible. Worse, the two 1x5 beams on the underside of the header scrape against the surface of the table/desk/hard flat object on which the harvester is being run. Seriously, TLG - what happened here?
