  1. Imagine what you could do with wheels like those on the rover!
  2. Too early to tell. But we can all dream.
  3. I'd like that too. LEGO have reissued sets in the past - why not have a rerelease of 8275 or 8043? Or maybe even a new set with RC?
  4. Totally in wonderment about that too. I'm thinking a tracked loader could be one, as we've got both a loader and an excavator. Till we've got pics of the B-models, though...
  5. I think that 42023 would go great with 42004, especially with those boulders to scoop! I do hope they change the loader a bit, though - it looks too much like 8453 from 2003.
  6. Just saw the skip truck pic. Bit hyped for the rest of the 2014 wave. I like the look of the truck, actually. I do think there's an overuse of red like in 42008, though, but the yellow cab kind of balances it out. The colours are a little more haphazard than I'd like, but those tyres look cool; finally, some tyres that fit the truck, unlike 42008. It's got me to wondering what the truck in the construction crew set will look like!
  7. I am somewhat anticipating the new pics. I want the droid from the V-wing set.
  8. Looks like an interesting model, but I'm unsure if it'll be a buy for me.
  9. I'm wondering when the Power Functions L-Motor is to be released. It's pretty late into the year and there's still no definitive release date for it. Does anyone have any idea when it'll be released?
  10. This set looks amazing! SIX instruction manuals?! Wow. This really is the biggest Technic set ever. Love the review!
  11. I'm currently at a loss as to which of the 8295 set's models are better - telescopic handler or log loader?
  12. Hello everyone! Thanks for your informative and helpful comments on my recent post. More on 8295, though. Which is better - the A model (the Handler, obviously) or the B Model (log loader)? I've been looking at the plans for the B and I like the look of the model, but is it any good in actuality? I know the A has its problems, but how about the B? Is the steering better? Does it function better? Would love to hear some opinions before I disassemble a pretty hefty model and spend a few hours squinting at my laptop screen!
  13. That's a blizzard idea! I'm not really into modifying my store-bought models, but I could look into it.
  14. Thanks Blakbird! I was actually thinking about using the newer 2011-era gears, but if there's nothing I can do about it then I'll leave it and put up with the dust. Does the B-model have the same gear strain problem?
  15. Yo. I recently got 8295 Telescopic Handler and it's a pretty good model! My review for it can be found here: http://www.brickset....views/?ID=46289 However, the MdStone 16-toothed gears used in the gear system to raise and lower the vehicle's boom seem to be giving off powder, and there's strain marks on the teeth. I've read a couple of articles and I think it's the sheer pressure they're under; the 8295's gear system does have a lot of weight to lift, and could it simply be the strain wearing down the gears? You do need to crank the living daylights out of the rear knob to get the boom up and down. I would like some advice on the subject, so that's why I've posted this topic. Thanks to anyone who can help. -maaboo35
