that is absolutely ridiculous!!! i cant believe that they would discontinue the pirates theme!! wasn't there a forum about what we wanted in the next line of pirates(sent from TLG)?? did they not find that the 200+ people from EB and all the others from brothers brick(FROM PRIMARILY AMERICAN AFOLS) to be a very large number for PRIMARILY PIRATE FANS signing a petition asking for te advent calendar??? this doesn't include children of America OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD!!!! including afols who don't use these forums!!! i am outraged!!! how could lego do this? i foresaw great things for 2010 pirates... my dreams are now shattered... THANKS ALOT LEGO!!!!

i actually would like to see indy go down. no i am not a indy hater, or lego indy hater. i really like the sets, theyre awesome... but because of indy the LEGO hero, johnny thunder is now dead. as long as indy exists adventurers will not. i prefer LEGO adventurers to lego indy. this is because i feel lego adventurers are more lego than indy is. they have more adventures and its something we havent imagined. we get a set list for indy describing the NAME of the set and some dude has already come up with a way to build the thing. this tells me right there that that set isnt original at all! what does everyone else think about my logic? tell me its wrong some i know u will

its EXTREMELY unlikely... in fact id bet my collection on it(just kidding of course!!) that they would never release a palpatines arrest set because there would be kit fisto,mace windu, and a couple other jedi all in one set! you just do do that!! its possible this could be a comic con exclusive or something of the nature that only like 50 poeple on the planet receive.... but other than that... don't get your hopes up.

aww man!! i just bought the tower raid yesterday, just so i could try this!!! now the link doesnt work!! I know this is alot to ask but can someone post their own instructions? or does anyone know anyother place to find them? that model looks awesome, i really want to build one!!

so.... if i were to use MANY pieces in my BP such as the two brown pieces on the back of the droid BP, a window cockpit thing, and i also want to use 2 boosters from the A-wing model. is that okay? i think those all fit in that category, but im not sure how MUCH of the "burp" pieces i can use, or if my a-wing boosters fit in as "similar to pieces from the previous battle packs" ive already designed my prototype, now im going to compare it to pictures on the internet, make it better, and slim down the piece count. speaking of piece count, seeing as all the current BPs up to date have ALWAYS(i think) have had more than 70 pieces.. cant you boot it up a bit? i think maximum 85 would be better.

i was looking at that download page... IT DONT WORK!! it wont let me look at the iron ons, which i want some to make my own piratey lego shirt because lego doesnt make any...(yeah they do, but not up for sale...) anyways... just wondering if anyone else has this problem.... i use mozilla firefox(just got it, dont know alot about it), not sure if this has anything to do with it.. but it might.

were u the am who showed me(yeah, i know you dont know what i look like, but maybe u did) the long space transporter with MAERSK written on it? there were a couple people centered around your little area, and it was rather hard to get to.

brickfair was awesome!!! found some cool stuff there! i think i found omicron and CP5670. saw your mocs they were freaking huge unfortunetly most of my list of minifigs werent available :O joker was 65$ from bricks w/o mortar.... i did a lot of shopping from them though! got the good wizard, some pirates accesories... did anyone else faint when they saw that guy set up next to the brick engraver?!?! his collection was insane, he was very nice though. he gave me two-face's head for free and a 2x1 brick with the classic space emblem on it!! i got 5 black bandanas, 5 red bandanas, 5 blue bandanas all for 7$! 5 black bandanas were probably worth 7$ by themself, anyone agree? he had amazing(yellow skined) super heroes like green lantern,fantastic 4, Dr. Doom, and some starwars guys like darth maul with no shirt on(weird..... ) he also had some nice pirate sails(2 for 10bucks) and hulls(35$ for a red one, not so great price,didnt buy it) in the other room there was brickarms(with very nice cashier lady. TIP: pay in coins, your garanteed to keep those coins and your purchase ) also in there was bionicles everywhere(not something i liked), some stupid guy was trying to sell the knights kingdom 1 faction of knights. he had like 40 stuffed into a bag. he told me id have to buy the whole bag or no deal(MORON!!), who has 80$+ to spend on all those figs? there was a dude selling some amazing classic sets, like a space station(40$ ), a fright knight carriage thing(30$? i dont remeber), and my purchase...... ......the renegade runner 50$ complete with no instructions, box, or original string, but still awesome!! i also got a black and green boat hull for 15$, a bit expensive but still good! well thats all i have to say about the brickfair vendors the mocs were awesome, nice soldiers forts, castles(OH MY GOD THEY WERE HUGE!), and a big scary clown. CP55670's blacktron starship was bigger than i imagined! that steampunk thing that was like bigger than me.... that was the biggest creation i'd probably ever seen outside of castle and starwars! brickfair is awesome, so anyone in dc area or somewhere near it... GO! RUN! RUN TO DE BRICKFAIR!!

just got back from the bank, and im all packed up. got my list of figures,list of sets, and list of stuff friends want, camera, nintendo DS(with lego indy ), and my math homework i didnt know anything about this supposed amazingly awesome sale at the store until i got home just a minute ago! next year ill try and save up.... maybe 30$? i guess thats a decent amount for MY end of the bargain(as a child), compared to my Dad paying 70.... unfortunetly for this year my lowsy 50bucks for christmas and 53 bucks from me saving all summer(yeah, i know), will be spent on old figures... im asuming that 50 christmas $ will NOT buy me a caribean clipper sized ship. i guess my parents didnt know i wanted to spend christmas money there..."what? when have we ever bought you used toys for christmas??" yeah, my parents argued all night about how we'd plan the day(again, I KNOW ), and so aparently my dad is taking me to brickfair, then taking my sis to a soccer game in DC(to see beckam i think ). my mom however gets the crap end of the deal. she spends 11:00am to 9:30 pm at that mall. im looking forward to my first brickfair and i hope its as fun as i think it will be!

WOW! you could have just stumbled onto an amazing find!!! this could have been the very first idea, maybe even thought of LEGO pirates!!! i would love to find out more about this picture.... that wig looks awesome, TLG should use it now, for the governors wife i dont see any white coats, just bluecoats,civilians, and that pirate guy with a brown vest... that castle is stunningly amazing. if only lego made this sort of thing: a land beyond the docks of the imperial soldiers.... that would be awesome. thats dark blue roof right? the same kind they use today in the soldiers fort! if lego released JUST that castle and bridge.... i would go insane!!! i want that castle so bad!!! i almost wish this wasnt posted, it breaks my heart

i think the one with lighter green is a misprint. they usually match the color of the hat. all mine match.

your right! those ARENT regular lego people. they're "reissues". reissues are usually made of bad quality like that. i gto some in the "vintage minifigure pack" and, yeah, they have no neck box, numbers on their armpits, and the white space man was a lesser bright white than normal. the only thing i dont completely agree with what you said is that the lego emblem on their neck is backwards. their not always in the same direction. some of mine point forward(front of torso out) i suggest that if you dont like these figs, find some of your old arms and hands to switch with these! i know i have alot of random torsos i dont use anymore and alot of red arms.

ive never seen that before... and i cant really say i shop at kmart, but why would lego sell them everywhere? atleast give it a chance? possibly this was the reject idea somebody got when they were making the tshirt for shop @ home! so they decided to sell them to kmart haha

i think thats a great idea! i think alot of kids would watch it and probably not think that its "history", but piracy and adventure! im sure that being lego(a child's toy company) they will have to make it pirate v.s. redcoat and basic boring stuff all of us have dreampt up 10 years ago.... so we probably wouldnt like it, but would watch it anyway, because its lego. i didnt know lego batman was going to get one... that would have been epic

1989 was better. one thing sums up my ideas: more for our money.

id like to see a couple of things. -rerelease of pirate sets like eldorado fortress(so i dont have to pay 150$ US on ebay) -red coat village -blue coats -big boat for red coat/blue coat(either one) thats as big as black seas barracuda -more variety of different pirate ships(different ships with different captains) -selling JUST sails for customizing ships(not sails found in sets, different ones because there would be nothing to customize)

brickfair is this saturday! im so excited me and some of my friends trade legos so im gonna pick up some stuff to trade with them. i was taking orders a while ago one of my friends really wants harley quinn M.F. from batman so hes going to trade alot for it! this morning i found 10 bucks on the beach... i wonder were thats going?

does anyone know if "Brick Takeover" should be trusted on bricklink? i want to order some pirate sails, but i dont know if i should buy from him because i dont use bricklink much and i dont know if hes trustworthy.
