What was the last movie you watched?
The Dark Knight is the sequel to Batman Begins, but there is a slight gap in between the two. The DVD movie Batman: Gotham Knight serves to fill some of that gap, check it out if you liked BB.

Anyone want more Force Unleashed?
This would be quite cool, I'd like to see some Raxus Prime sets personally. However it won't happen. Lego released the Rogue Shadow long before the game was out, and this kind of proves that Lego probably won't be backing it any further.

What was the last movie you watched?
Tropic Thunder. Very funny movie, perhaps a tiny bit slow to start after the fake trailers, but after Steve Coogan's death, it was just non stop hilarity.

Bond Games
Goldeneye - no discussion. I enjoyed Agent Under Fire and Nightfire, as they had coold gadgets and some nice levels for games not based on any of the films. Everything or Nothing was quite an interesting experiment too, but ultimately it was a bit too linear. Quantum of Solace should be good if done right, with the right mix of cinematic moments and good gameplay. Also, it's not Casino Royale as well, it just includes a few missions based on that film as the early ones I believe.

Custom DC minifigures
Yes, Clark Kent would benefit from either that torso posted above or a full suit like he would wear at the Daily Planet. Great work though. I especially like Aquaman and Barbara Gordon's wheelchair.

The three most memorable moments in a video game for you
1. Shooting that guard with the silenced PP7 in Goldeneye 007 from inside the air vents above the toilets. It just never got old, and it was a joy to see that hat go flying every time... 2. It's so tough to pick one moment, but I think just the feeling of freedom you got from galloping across Hyrule field on Epona as Adult Link in Ocarina of Time. The feeling you could go anywhere and do anything was just immense. 3. The frantic worry of hurling a gamecube controller around the room in a 12 person game of Warioware: Mega Party Games on Gamecube. The moment when you saw the c-stick imprinted on someone's forehead added onto the fact that they failed to simply press the A button - priceless.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Got it today and loving it so far. It can get a bit repetitive at times, but the Wii controls keep things fresh. Although I'm not usually a fan of QTEs, the ones in TFU so far are intense and quite cinematic. I think if the game keeps up what I've seen so far, it should be awesome.

The Bat Mocs'N'Mods Treat!
This has only been brought to my attention recently, but is quite irritating nonetheless. When I got my Batmobile, I also thought that crappy launcher needed replacing with a smoother look - as seen here. Your prided redesign is almost identical to mine. Due to mine being about 18 months ago, there's a chance you have never encountered my work, but if you had seen it before, I would appreciate appropriate credit, since as far as I am aware I was one of, if not the first, to do a mod like this.

Lego Batman gameplay
The games on the handhelds have kept on improving, with Indiana Jones being the best yet, bar it having the same gripes as the console versions for some. As far as I can tell (I don't own it) there doesn't seem to be any major changes, and that should stay the same for Lego Batman, bar the obvious graphical downgrade on the handhelds. You shouldn't be at too much of a disadvantage to get the PSP version, just check the reviews when it's out. I say not too much of a disadvantage, but you own a PSP so... EDIT: Actually, the PSP version of Indy featured no multiplayer, so you should bear that in mind if it's a vital component and the mistake isn't rectified for Batman.

EB News Presents : Lord Thrawn
Loving the name dropping there LordT Also, I'd like to say what a great idea this is Stauder and Imperial Shadows. Although we often hear what's on people's minds on the forums, it's quite interesting to see what really makes people tick. Keep up the great work?

The Dark Knight
Quiet you To be fair though, I was happy that I was able to go into the cinema not expecting the best movie ever. It just made it even better,

The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight continues the series in a spectacular way. It's not just a great comic book movie, nor is it possibly just the best film of this year. It is probably one of the greatest films I have ever seen. 10/10 I didn't have any problems with it, and I think that is is just a superb piece of a work. As a matter of fact, I'm seeing it at least twice more. After seeing it at 11am on day of release, I'm going to watch it again tomorrow and then I'm seeing it in Imax on August 27th

What game are we playing at the moment?
Since yesterday (yes I got it a day early :D) I've been playing Brawl. It was definitely worth the wait, being everything you could ever want. I can say so much about it, but I won't bore you all, as I'm sure it's already been said by most. It's certainly not going to be leaving the disc slot for the next few weeks...

Clone wars video game
I didn't say it would be, I said if. For me, that'd probably be the games saving grace, but it is very doubtful. If I wanted to play a game where SW characters simply duke it out, at the mo I'd take Soul Calibur 4.

Clone wars video game
Eh, I'm not so set. Whilst it's great that it's being built ground up and all, and that focus on only one element should mean a good game, I hope it's more that what it seems. When I think Clone Wars I think epic battles, not just lightsaber duels. If it proves to be the best lightsaber sim ever in a game, then that's something, but I think that so much more could be done.

Lego Death Star 10188 - Pics at last!
People have a right to complain, but I personally feel as well as a great set, this is a genuine step in the right direction for TLC. With sets like this and the Agent Mobile Command Center, you can see that Lego is really putting fun first. Yes, it's pretty expensive, but you also have to think about balance. For all those who complain about the price, I can see your point, but I think for what it's offering, whilst it could be cheaper, it's fantastic - I'm not sure I've ever seen so many great minifigs and elements in a set. As for those moaning about the Stormtroopers being 'cheap' and whatnot, the more new pieces, molds and prints there are, the more the price goes up. If I had the cash, I would happily spend my money on this set. I think we should just be glad we're getting this at all. Plus, if this sells well, it means more sets of a similar calibre.

The User Picture Thread
It's a me! Just a random picture I took a few weeks back. It's a bit blurred because the wingmirror was on a motorbike that wasn't mine. It was a drive by shooting Check my flickr if you like this. It's got tons of random pictures on there, but if you search hard enough you can find some pictures of Lego, most of which were posted on here a while back. Anyways, enjoy!

Transformers
It's usually anyone's guess. Hopefully soon after appearances in those countries are a bit more frequent (it's a bit hit and miss here in the UK apparently). But our part of the world has to be used to getting things late/last. At anyrate, a bit of a late post in here, but I read the recent Grimlock Spotlight comic, and I was highly impressed by it. I'm not a huge Transformers fan, but I'll certainly be getting some of the new figures like Sunstreaker, Prowl and Animated Grimlock.

Review - Agents 8635 Mobile Command Center
It's only fitting, an awesome review for an awesome set. This looks very good, if I had the cash and space, it'd be mine. It's great to see this Agents line is offering so much new and so much fun! The little vehicles look fantastic, that truck is a monster, and the figs are great too. I definitely have to get some of the little Agents sets now...

Lego indiana jones video game official
Out of interest, has the mag reformatted? I'm not a regular reader, as I think that NOM was way better, but I get it occasionally.

Clone wars video game
Eh, I have doubts. If this was announced a while back, maybe it'd have promise, but this'll probably be an underwhelming tie in like the majority of movie tie-in games. Still, it's good to see the Wii and DS finally getting something exclusive. I mean, the DS releases of the past few months haven't been dazzling, and I'm getting damn tired of all the PS2 ports and sub - par multi console games on Wii. I know we don't have much news yet, but this could go either way in my opinion. This is probably because of the nature of the film and rest of the series, with it's stylised look and such like it's possibly viewed to cater to the younger audience, which is wider on the Wii and DS, like Oky Wan Kenobi said, although I'd be inclined to disagree slightly and I hope future releases will change this opinion.

Lego Indy Demo
I highly disagree. Bear in mind, this is made by the same company who made the LSW games, and it is based off a Lego product, so similarities are bound to be present. I'd say they've done a great job of differentiating the two though. Yes, while the same sense of humour and style is carried through, you've got to see the little differences, such as improvements in melee combat which has a bigger focus (I saw Indy pull off various context different moves whilst battling in the demo), much better background and environmental textures, and possibly a glimpse of better level design in general, especially with the drop in and drop out mechanics (the partner was needed for very important tasks, such as getting across the water). I could mention more, but I think I'd probably just be repeating comments made by others such as Grevious.

Problems with Indy sets
I honestly don't see that there is a problem here. The only problem lies in your own opinions. That's not to say that any of you are wrong, but, while the sets are technically inaccurate to the movie, they never promised to get every little detail right. I would rather have well priced sets with nice little extras over sets which all have everything correct, with duplicates of every figure and therefore cost the Earth. And rather than criticising something you can't really change, let's see something constructive out of this, for those who have bought a lot of the sets, let's see how you think TLC should have made them!

Review: 7884 Batman - The Buggy: The Escape of Mr Freeze
Pretty nice review for a first time ???theriddler???. Next time though, if your camera has it, use the macro function (little flower icon) and perhaps a tripod. That should get rid of any blur and provide you with better pictures. Apart from that, a good little review. Keep up the good work!

What was the last movie you watched?
Personally, I'd say it doesn't. But I don't really care, that's a great piece of TV. I watched Big Trouble in Little China. Funny to see Kurt Russell do an action comedy, and it was just good fun as far as movies go.
