  1. Oh and the Dragons/Falcons might not have soldiers or a squire, but they do have a Princess! And she is clearly not interested in the squire as she'd rather kiss a frog
  2. Simply and utterly amazing!! Love the new princess and love the falcon knight design! The structures are also simply fantastic. I love all the detailing in that main building! Moreover I think this is a very innovative take on the jousting theme. Man, I must say LEGO keeps on surprising me! Definitively a must-buy!
  3. Simple yet complex a`t the same time. Some very nice building techniques. Love it!
  4. Those windows are very clever! I always love it when people push their bricks to the limit!
  5. Thanks for this interesting information (and confirmation). I'm very curious about possible sets!
  6. Indeed, quite an original interpretation of the fortress. Good find!

Excellent!! That waterfall is simply amazing! The ruins are also very nice. I like the gateway with the arches the most. Well done!

    Love the new bear!

Love the cup cakes. I guess this theme is a bit like Belville: I don't like the sets, but I like the parts. And from that perspective, it has significant potential. I must say I like the Robot set and the Icecream shop the most.
  10. I like the ship, but the other sets don't do it for me - but I must confess I was no fan of the previous series of sets either...
  11. Veeery impressive! I like the detailed interiors the most, but the outside of the buildings is also incredibly nice. Excellent MOC!
  12. The Roman is absolutely amazing! I must say this is once again an excellent series!
  13. It seems that the movie did not do well in the US, but this decrease was more than compensated by gains from the rest of the world. Now, the question is how important is the US market to LEGO?
  14. Very original! Love the idea and the execution as well! And yes the flowers have taken a lot of time, but they do work here. Great job!
  15. Once again, this set of updates is truly amazing. I must say, I find your work very inspirational. I also like the fact that it is posted in bits, so we can enjoy all the fine details of each and every creation. Excellent work!
  16. I think it truly captures the essence of the iconic Ghostbusters car! Well done!
  17. This is another excellent moc! I absolutely love the design of your castle. Especially the fact that there are so many curved angles in it makes this set exceptional. I love the use of the cheese slope - which definitively makes you unique. Love the colour use and the fact that you use dark bley log bricks as the foundation and the light bley as the finishing. Combined with the dark tan soil that is one impressive colour scheme. Once again, truly amazing MOC! Well done!
  18. This may certainly be true, but I'm not sure this is the only problem; e.g. the legs are more loose and the grip of the hands is less firm. I'm not an expert - so may be this is also due to the finishing?
  19. Funnily enough the printing on the 'Chinese' figs (battlepacks, CM) is often better than the original one. However, the plastic still seems to be inferior. I just received my copy of the gangster as well. The first I noticed was indeed the lower quality of the plastic. Moreover, in contrast to for instance the gladiator, I find the quality of the printing on this fig also at best mediocre. I do not believe it is 'a natural law' that Chinese figs are worse: the quality can improve. However, the quality of the Gangster is lower. That's a shame, but at least these figs are quite cheap (a sub-standard P{PotC would be far worse as these sets are far more expensive).
  20. I actually have the feeling that LEGO is really getting better in designing these brick-built dragons. The molded ones were sometimes too detailed and lacked the LEGO feel, but for instance the Viking dragons were hardly recognizable. This earth dragon is really an excellent example of a good brick-built dragon.

Love the brickbuilt version! I don't really mind that it is not completely accurate. It looks good the way it is.
  22. Woow That's a lot! They may really be selling well
  23. I agree that the Kingdoms line is definitively worth the effort: it has plenty of new accessories and unique figures. All prior factions had more generic figures, but lacked the detail the kingdoms line has (the exception being obviously the golden knight of the fantasy era). By the way, if you are unable to get to that LEGO shop, may be you can consider ordering the sets online. I find that itt is a very convenient and often cheaper way of getting lego. Good luck!
  24. Excellent building. I think I like the interior the most - it actually breathes the atmosphere of a genuine Godiva store. Good job!
  25. Very nice! Love the roofing technique where you use the black round plates. Some very clever techniques used here. Definitively like it
