LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 discussion
Yep Blokker sells them this time. In Nijmegen normally Blokker does not sell them, but this time they were way ahead of the other toy stores (which actually do not have them even now). I bought two figs: the hazmat guy and the musketeer. It was the last musketeer in the box, so I guess they are quite popular as only about 15 bags were bought. I still have a box coming (99 euro), which I'm sharing with a friend, so this was a good opportunity to get an extra musketeer

Great set and great design. The minifigs are outstanding (especially Jack and the mermaids look simply stunning). The building itself also looks great. This is a must-have for me.

Tournament on castle Burg Stolzenstein
Great work! You must have had a lot of fun building it. I especially love the mock knight to practice with (I don't really know the right English word, I'm afraid). I like the wheel at the bottom. More in general there are some clever techniques used in this MOC. Good job!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion
I like most of this series. Just like series 4, there are very few figs that are not fantastic. I like the graduate (I'm getting my degree soon, so I want one of these!), the gladiator and the mafia guy most, while the Sherlock Holmes and cleopatra figs are very good as well. I think I like the Inuit and the snowboarder least. Regarding the parts, the clown's pie is definitively great, along with all the Gladiator's accessories. Overall, again a good series. I'm also curious about whether or not we will see more historical figs. This series includes Holmes and Cleopatra. It would be nice to see more of them. For instance a Julius Caesar fig would be great!

I agree with you on that one. I also find it quite strange. The printed part is spot on: this is what I expect from the dragon facton, but it is odd that one part is not printed. On the other hand, the horse barding of the lion in the prison tower set is quite similar, with the exception that there is a white (or in my case pink) square. It actually looks good that way, so I wonder why they did not do the same for the dragon barding. Nevertheless: great set.

Well the best sets are yet to come: Whitecap Bay, London Escape and QAR. I actually found the sets a bit better than I thought based on the official pictures. But I agree it's too expensive to buy the mediocre sets as well.

None in the Netherlands so far. I ordered a box at a Dutch online store and they'll ship it on the first of April, so I guess that's the date when they will be available here.

MOC - Dragon Knight Keep
Excellent MOC! I like the tower (especially its lower parts) and the amount of detail. I agree with you that it is very difficult to modify the prison tower to a genuine keep and I think your decision to start from scratch was a very wise one. The fact that you changed the dragon colour scheme a bit turned out to be a good decision as well. All in all this is a great MOC and indeed the best Dragon castle I have seen so far. Good job!

Big medieval landscape: BIG UPDATE on page 26
Nice project! It's great to see things evolving. You sure have a lot of bricks...

Great contest, great winners! Thanks to Eurobricks for organizing it and Whitefang for all the effort he put into it. Well done!!

Well, here it is definitively not out of place. I always felt there should be a correction in that ratio to account for the number of larger animals (such as horses, goats or cows) and minifigs. The reason is quite simple: just dividing the price by the pieces assumes that all pieces are equal, while obviously they are not. If you take the minifigs (3 of which are exclusive) and the animals into account, the MVR is actually not expensive at all.

Stand a chance to win a random Series 3 minifigures
Great idea guys! ...And since it seems I'm pretty much hopeless for the building contest votes, it means I will still have a (small) chance to win a minifig nevertheless.

[MOC] The Outpost
Though the overall look is not that surprising, this vignette has lots of hidden beauties. It is very creative and stuffed with clever techniques. Good job!

MOC-"The Northern Lands" Chapter I
Great Moc! I like the water mill the most, with the river as a close second. I do agree with the above comment that the desert seems a bit empty. May be you can spice that up a little? It need not necessarily be greenery. Could be cactuses, skeletons, dead trees, hills, rock pieces, another hut,... Anyway these are just some suggestions. Best, K.

Agreed. The sets look incredibly good and the minifigs are great, but man these are some steep prices. Online they'll probably be just bit cheaper, but nonetheless this is quite pricey. But on the other hand: the quality of the sets is also very good. Mmmm difficult to decide which (and how many) sets to buy...

Review: 2259 Skull Motorbike
Nice review, but unappealing set in my opinion.

Fundamentals for a good Lego collection?
I found the Prince of Persia market place a very good parts pack (it has lots of rare pieces in large quantities). Moreover, the set is mostly on sale. You can also sell the minifigs to make it an even cheaper parts pack. In addition to such sets I buy lots of pieces on bricklink.

A gatehouse
Nice one! I like all the details and the fact that you devoted a lot of attention to the interior. Good job!

Yep I fully agree with you: this wave is an answer to all our requests. I just hope there will be another wave like this. Perhaps one that includes a dragon fortress. But even now this is already one of the best castle lines, in my opinion.

Then again, one MVR adds three dragon soldiers versus zero lions. Additionally, the carriage includes just one lion and a king versus two dragons. Buying one of each set means at least a surplus of four dragons, while the old sets outbalanced the dragons by five (not counting the king, but including the prince in the advent calender), so all in all it makes it fairly equal.

Three blind mice...
Excellent MOC. It just shows how much possibilities lego bricks have! I love it!

My guess is that the dragon is meant t attack the blacksmith (fits with the MVR and the title + the colour scheme of the blacksmith is not such as to show allegiance to the dragons. But then again, isn't that the beauty of LEGO: if you want him to work for the dragons, you can easily incorporate him in their faction. You're the boss
