  1. A re-issued Brickbeard's Bounty? Are you sure you don't mean Black Seas Barracuda?
  2. I got the same email - voted for the Spartan.
  3. These are clearly legit - they are the same style as the 2009 Pirates battlepacks which also did not have a set number on the front - only on the back.

I agree. However, you will at least have a starting point based on gold content. Take the mass in grams, multiply it by 0.58333 (converting from 24k (pure) to 14k), divide by 31.1 and then multiply it again by the spot gold price that day ($1496.xx as I type this). That will give you the value of the gold content.

Do you have a mass (scale)? Put it on there and let us know the mass in grams. There are 31.1 grams in a troy ounce and 24k gold is worth ~$1500 / ozt. Is this 24k, 18k, 14k, etc? I just need to know the purity and mass and can tell you exactly how much the gold content is worth (I am a numismatist as well as an AFOL).
  6. It looks like a moose or elk to me.

This is the same situation I have. The initial shipment was two sets of old sprues - I emailed and specified I wanted the replacement pack and one set came a couple weeks later with a letter included that stated I would receive more replacement packs in a week or ten days.
  8. B1G1 50% was extended another two days (originally ended the 2nd). Now it ends the 4rth.
  9. If you buy three sets at the same price, it is indeed 30% off (ex - Three $100 sets = $100 + $100 + $10 = $210. $210/3 = $70. ($100 - $70)/$100 = 30%). B2G1 would be 33% off. This is a great deal if buying multiples of the same set.
  10. Unreal MOC - wonderful job! Your next assignment ... instructions! Because this thing is absolute perfection.
  11. The only problem there is the opaque nature of the drawer.
  12. I tried to give you props...seems as though no one actually read the post though.
  13. ???? Grogall broke the news of the Post Office almost a month ago: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=53130&view=findpost&p=980666 Who was expecting a train station?

Lol - off topic here, but I'm going to show this post to my wife and inform her that my 2075 points aren't really "ridiculous" as she says... Of course, she'll probably point out that I spend money on ebay, TRU, Amazon, Target, Walmart, Meijer, etc, etc...

Nope - I asked for it and the letter that came with the (pseudo) replacements insisted the parts I inquired about did not exist in the metallic gold. It's very odd.

Same with me (came yesterday) - old style, two sprues of the old type. Very annoying!
  17. According to the Lego magazine they will be available for order June 1rst.
  18. Weather vane, not vein.
  19. 12 what for $1 each? The breastplate? Or the entire fig with the breastplate? Edit: Or, it looks like the breast plate and helmet?
  20. Has anyone tried to count the studs in the Lego image? I counted 40 studs and was between 1/3-1/4 of the way down. So, I'd estimate it's ~140 studs long. Can anyone else confirm? That's enormous for an official set. Edit: Actually, I looked and estimated again and my count is right around 160 studs long. That's 50" long, or more than four feet.
  21. Wow, very nice score.
  22. This forum needs a "thanks" button. Excellent build and thanks for providing the image(s) of how you built it. Very slick.
  23. I guess it's worth it for me if you procrastinate and I keep bugging you, eh?
  24. I'm still interested in those historic figs and horses...
