What's your latest acquisition?
I just decided to focus on Castle as my main theme (my wife is making me pick a theme, since I have so many random sets), and since I just came out of my dark ages in the past couple years, I needed to seriously start my army building. Some of these were purchased before they went out of print (not for sale any longer at S@H), but before I decided to concentrate on Castle. 10 x 30062-1: Target Practice (wasn't at my Target, but found some guys online willing to sell at cost + shipping) 4 x 7947-1: Prison Tower Rescue (most of these from the recent Meijer sale online) 2 x 7948-1: Outpost Attack (Meijer sale) 1 x 7949-1: Prison Carriage Rescue (Need some more of these! Waiting for a sale or clearance) 3 x 7950-1: Knight's Showdown (Aldi clearance a couple months ago) 1 x 7946-1: King's Castle (Target sale a while back) 1 x 852922-1: Battle Pack (should have bought more of this from S@H) 1 x 852921-1: Battle Pack (should have bought more of this from S@H) 2 x 7953-1: Court Jester 2 x 7955-1: Wizard Whew! I'm also going to look into buying some part lots on ebay or other online sites, as well as continue my army building. I am also looking forward to the next wave of Kingdoms. Oh - and I almost forgot, I did pick up a copy of the MMV. I really need another...such a great set!

Hall of Heroes display in Mall of America
The store has been open for a while, but since I wasn't there for the opening ceremony, this video was pretty cool! Thanks. The models are pretty sweet, especially up close.

2011 Kingdoms + US prices
The weapons might still be preliminary - notice the chicken included in the display set is brown, yet the chicken on the box art is white. There are inconsistencies elsewhere as well (for example, look at the handle of the bucket on the box art compared to the handle in the display set). I could name others...

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion
Heh, that's funny, because I'm pretty sure it's a conquistador. :-) I can't wait to see better pictures (of all of them)!

Star Wars Miniland to come in LEGOLand California
1/20th scale is ~twice minifig scale. Wasn't the UCS Falcon ~minifig scale?

$5 off $20+ order: BR120 (Nov 1, 2010 to Jan 31, 2011) B905 (Feb 1, 2011 to April 30, 2011) Not sure why BR120 isn't working, but try B905 in that case.

Granny minifig wanted
Excellent, thanks, this will work nicely!

Granny minifig wanted
Well, not a pony tail or men's hair. lol. Anything else would work really. Perhaps I'll just get a hat - that might be the easiest.

Granny minifig wanted
I'm attempting to create a custom minifig (it doesn't have to be custom, but I'm not aware of one like I'm searching for). I want to make a present for my grandma for Christmas and the only thing I'm missing is a representation of her! I need an older minifig face, with glasses and white or gray hair - the rest really doesn't matter (normal clothing). I can't find the hair (in particular) and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts. Thanks!

Did you ever make instructions for the Avenger?

Sorry Ralph, I should have been more specific. That question was for Teddy!

I was hoping Teddy would chime in! Aren't you also doing the inside of the ship to scale (hallways, rooms, storage, etc)?

Lucky LEGO finds
Separatist Shuttle and Echo Base, both MISB for $25.00 total at a garage sale this morning. They had Twilight for $40 MISB, but I have no desire to own that.

Yes - I had way too many older sets that I never got around to opening. Still do for that matter...

Eurobricks Raffle and Mystery Treasure Hunt
Yes, the pattern only supports 200 possibilities, and that would have only been a problem if all 200 were present on Eurobricks. Even then, 8% of those would have been the pics you were looking for.

Just out of curiosity, how many people got all 16?

http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?pg=1&q=spartan&sz=25&searchSort=P Edit: The sort didn't save. There is another guy selling 400 of them. $8+ apiece though.

Eurobricks Raffle and Mystery Treasure Hunt
Click on the number in the upper right hand corner of the post. Then, copy the link. It's as simple as that... Yes, I know exactly what it means - but if you pick my name first, I still have six entries in the raffle, so if you pick my name again I was wondering if I would win again, or if you'd just throw it out. Now I have the answer (you'd throw it out).

Eurobricks Raffle and Mystery Treasure Hunt
Well, the witch took me 3+ hours of searching, compared to 10 minutes max for any of the other figs. Still, as you said, the hint is quite sufficient (although digging through all the similar threads does take a while). That makes 16/16 for me - I'll submit my list when I get home. Thanks for the hunt! Edit: By the way, I don't think anyone has asked if we have the chance to win multiple minifigs if we have multiple chances? Or, if once our name is picked, we can't win another.
