Does anybody know whether the Monty Mole preorder bonus is still available on LEGO.com?

I really don’t understand how this theme is shrouded in such secrecy at this point lol, like I can only suppose it just wasn’t on display at Nuremberg whatsoever, which is bizarre in and of itself if it’s supposed to be a new big-bang action theme. The worst part is that if the trend from last year persists, we can’t expect any news about Leaf from NYTF, so who knows how long it’ll be?

All of these sets appear to be remakes of older models, so my guess is that they won't actually be relevant to current story. Just the "Greatest Hits" of classic Ninjago to celebrate the 100th Episode of the TV show. Ergo, the Utlra Dragon would just be remade from that era, as well as the Golden Dragon (which also shouldn't exist anymore) and everything else.

That's a pretty fair point of view in regards to the perception of BIONICLE. I think it could make the transition very efficiently into System, but I won't debate you on how it would be perceived because I do respect the viewpoint that constraction is integral to its identity. As far as having the Bohrok with Bricks is concerned.... well, yeah. I know you're probably talking about gear functions, but even still. :P The Mixel joint system has opened up many possibilities when it comes to the advancement of "Characters and Creatures" built out of System. If you ever have the time or interest, I'd encourage you to peruse the entry list of this topic or just check out our "Brickonicle" Creative Content forum. I feel like the stereotype that you could have nothing but "bikes, mechs, and crazy vehicles" has been adequately disproven (though some of that stuff is totally fine in moderation, too!) and with some more advancements to the formula, the Mixel Joint system could be a good companion piece to preserve the legacy of Constraction in a new and distinct way.

I don't think those official system BIONICLE sets are representative of the best that LEGO could do in the modern era, nor are they a good indication of BIONICLE's system potential (they didn't even feature real Minifigures!) I understand different people value different things about BIONICLE, though. For me, while the sets are the core product, the aesthetic of BIONICLE matters most, and is what I would call the "foundation"; tribal and technological influences mixed together. I think that could be very easily communicated through System sets, even moreso than Constraction as we would be able to get more Rahi builds and possibly some buildings as well. Seriously, this, this, this, or this....... versus this or THIS. BIONICLE could totally work as a System theme. It could even still have a constraction component like Chima did if the budget was high enough.

I read a little bit further down, and it might be a little more complex than I first thought: "Database Administrators Can add to and edit the main set database Alicee, ASIN, CapnRex101, DrDaveWatford, dulcaoin, Grahame, Huw, SMC, TheBrickPal, wjoeyjones" So there is a small pool of individuals who could have created the entry, in the interest of fairness. EDIT: Just considered the possibility it's an April Fools Day joke that's just been discovered early.

This place seems to have become unexpectedly toxic, which I can somewhat understand as this is a disappointing outcome and an upsetting situation for anybody who calls themselves a CCBS fan. That being said, turning on each other and snarking back and forth doesn't make this any better for anybody. On the issue at hand, I'm incredibly disappointed but not really surprised either. The writing has been on the wall for a good while.

I find it pretty difficult to believe on its own merits (though it wouldn't surprise me if SW Constraction did end), but the Toy Fair blurb is pretty compelling anecdotal evidence.

I liked it. I don't know if it's the art style, the character redesigns, or just sheer joy at seeing Ninjago make it to the big screen, but none of the changes are bothering me and I have boarded the hype train.

I'd be willing to wager that it might be in a style similar to the Lego Movies, as an attempt to unite those two styles more efficiently. Looking forward to seeing it.
