Building elf structures
I made an Elvish structure way back, wasn't particularly referencing from LotR style of elves though lol. Hope it's somewhat inspirational :P http://www.flickr.com/photos/49468482@N05/sets/72157626563937684/

Nocturnus border tower
Thanks guys for the feedback! Looking forward to the next challenge hehe. @Hersbrucker yeah I totally forgot about that. Here goes: @Captain Beerbeard: I've always wanted to make a bone shield, finally able to do so with the new skeleton arms and shorter sticks from the vikings/dwarves minifig collectables! @Artanis I: Yeah they are in fact tower shields for Ogres heehee.

Nocturnus border tower
Previously on Bono's adventure: My link "At last, Luncheon, here we are at the border towers!!" "Oink oink!" "You know Luncheon, this used to be the temple of an ancient deity. This tower is built among what's left of such ruins..." "According to Nocturnus lore, two demons were living in this very place a long long time ago." "But they cannot tolerate one another, so they had a fierce battle, burning down everything along and around, including all of their worshipers and these once-temples." "They say if you're lucky enough, you can find demon bone fragments beneath the soil, which is a very very precious material, for both sorcery research and weapon smithing!" "I wonder where the guard captain might be..." "My lord, here's the map I've asked to deliver." "Well done, little undead." "I see you brought a pig with you. I didn't know skeletons need to eat," "That is my travel companion, my lord..." "Your wha?...... Anyway, a group of bugbear merchants have traveled north towards the Avalonian border, I want you to take this bone shield behind you, and deliver it to them. They travel slow, you will have no trouble in catching up," "Yes my lord, consider it done!" "A bone shield......I've never seen anything like this before, Luncheon. More traveling, you ready for that Luncheon?" "Oink!" To be continued...

Nocturnus Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
...So this is how this story begins. An unusual undead, is taking care of the flower patch in front of his grave. His only concern, being how to keep his pet pig, Luncheon, from eating away all his flowers. Ahh, what a gloomy Sunday morning indeed... ...A mysterious shadow approaches. "Bono......" "Yes yes, about to finish trimming the twigs, who might..." "G...Gr...Grand Oracle Sulfurion~~~~!!! M...m...my lord, what a pleasant surprise. Fancy a cuppa?" "Bono, my loyal servant, I can see that you are indulging yourself with the luxury of time. So what of the task I asked of you, to deliver my message to my men across Nocturnus?" "Oh that my lord, I'm pleased to inform you it is done without delay!" "I've visited the tribal warriors in the swamps," "the bugbear wanderers roaming across and about Nocturnus," "the mysterious assassins from the eastern shores," "and the cyclops by the mountain ridges..." "Well done, my servant, you shall be rewarded." "Th...thank you my master," "Now another task has been given upon you. You will take this detailed map of Eastern Darklands to the knight captain, stationed at the watchtower by the western borders near the Kelra Labyrinths. You will do so now." "Yes, my master, right away." "Hmmmm Bono, I am pleased to see that you are taking your necromancy seriously finally, pigs are fine specimens for magical experiments of all sort, besides hum..." "That is, err, my pet, my lord." "............you will take this map and leave now." "Geared up and ready to go! Luncheon, I think we have an extraordinary adventure ahead of us!" "Oink!" To be continued... ( The Grand Oracle and Bono are here to serve Lord Ssillyrrlith! Hop it's not too late, my computer just broke down...)

[MOC] Elven Temple
Diola Lle~~Thank you all for your kind comments and compliments! Was really fun experimenting on Elven building styles. Looking forward to build a larger structure ...... that's if I have coin left at all after release of PotC and Kingdoms summer wave. Hahahaha. @Sandy: Yea too bad there's only 1 type of elven hairpiece. I thought about alternative hairpieces but at the end I choosed to stick with pointy ears. What can I say, I <3 pointy ears. We need more pointy ears hairpiece! TLC can you read this you MUST read this!! @Aanchir: My original plan is to have a REALLY big tree with surrounding canopy above the alter, but as always, bricks run out so fast you don't see it coming! @fred67: I always think that elves are very sipritual people, so I thought they would have built some temple or shrine to worship/ pay respect to mother nature or some kind of god or magical beings? But hey, elves are pure fantasy stuff, we can always create a new definition for elves, no? @Brig. Brick: Elf guardian inspired by World of Warcraft elves. May Elune shines upon you! @ Captain Bayonet: Oooooh yeah, for a price... Quel fara my friends, tenna' telwan!

[MOC] Elven Temple
I've always wanted to build something elven, ever since the elf minifig came out. After a few months of looking for bricks and laying about I ended up with this :P. Actually I'm suprised there aren't many elven architectures around (Drows don't count, sorry Angeli ). It was fun to build something like this! There aren't much I can reference from (as in there isn't a real elven building I can go and have a look. Wouldn't mind though if there is such a place:classic:), and I have absolutely no idea nor plan how I'm going to build it, so I just let my imagination lead the way: Here's the front. Elves gather around at the temple. I tried to incorporate exotic vegetations into the scene. Glowing mushrooms and big white flowers for example. Elven Guard. Elven mistress/priestess giving a speech. On the side. Proud elven archeress. Back of temple. Tree referenced from banyan trees sitting in my neighbourhood. Without the air roots, though. Another view from behind. Elven sentry. Big fly! View from above. Japanese anime style elf. Sorry I have to make one Overview. Hope you enjoyed! Flickr page link: My link

[MOC] Shogun's covert orders
Thanks everyone for the compliments! I had great fun building this vignette because there were many challenges in the technicalities to overcome. There are many things I'd like to improve, but I guess I'll do that on my new year Lego resolution--- to build a big samurai castle!!!!!!

[MOC] Shogun's covert orders
I've always enjoyed watching samurai movies (ah well who doesn't love samurai?), and really loves to live in a traditional Japanese house. While I was window shopping the new NinjaGo series I suddenly had this strange idea of making a 60s samurai movie vignette. here it is! Shogun's carefully giving orders to his Buka (subordinate)... Or was he secretly giving secret messages to his trusted ninja master? From another angle. The roof. With slide door closed. Here's how the Buka looks like, in case you're curious More pics @ Flickr: http://www.flickr.co...ith/5354335445/ -おわり The End- Hope you enjoyed it!

Shah's pimped chariot You are Sparta? We are PERSIA! And we're ridiculously rich Persia! Me homies, let me introduce to you, da one and only "Bling Chariot". Where shall I begin? Oh ya, da mighty Persian horse. Strongest of its kind, dressed in gold barding and topaz headlamp, you can't go wrong with dat. The body-- oh ya the body-- semi- dome gold plated front, scorpion figurehead made of pure gold, all Persian frame, extended leg room, and scimitars for interior, to add more flava and extra protection-- lemme tell you, the streets aren't safe anymore nowadays, with all those princes and Spartans! You better check out the customized hatch as well, made extra room to stash more cash, ya know what I'm sayin'. We gonna have the exterior blinged out, we gonna shove 2 more scimitars up the sides, we gonna erect the farvahar, and vroom vroom off the street we gooooo! Now dat's what I call a pimped ride! I heard some king out there tried to imitate ma bling chariot. Oooh anyways.
