  1. I am his older brother. We both work on models together. Sorry for the confusion. He normally posts but I logged in with my account accidentally.
  2. Hi guys :) Just thought I would share some photos of my WIP Rebel Alliance hangar / base. This is an ongoing project to house my starfighter squadron. The hangar bay is nearly complete, with the exception of a wall, walkway, pipes, crane etc. The ceiling of the bay is lit with Power Function LED lights. The base is supposed to be underground with the hangar carved out of a natural cavern. The upper level of the base includes the command and control centre, and the briefing room which is still under construction. I intend to add further rooms (medical bay, pilots mess, etc) eventually. Additionally, I am planning to add a surface landscape layer above the base . Enjoy! As usual comments and criticisms are welcomed ! I will keep you guys posted on my progress!
  3. Looking forward to a UCS B-Wing to go along with my own squadron... Roll on 2012!!
  4. My pics have gone live now and are free to view The Millenium falcon is based on Flail's amazing design - I simply redesigned the interior, adding a circuitry bay, hyperdrive and sleeping quarters/medical bay. Its possible to walk 360 degrees through the Falcon now. I will post more pics of the B-wing engine construction and primary superstructure soon. RenegadeClone
  5. Hi Guys, I have started to post pics detailing the construction of my B-Wing starfighter on Brickshelf. Here is the first batch (to be moderated). I will add more soon and eventually post a parts list too. Enjoy Instructions - illustrates construction of S-Foil Wings, Cockpit, and Primary Weapons Pod And a taste of my "Flail'd" Millenium Falcon Brickshelf Gallery
  6. Thanks for the comments For the most part they are identical. I put together a small diorama this morning. Enjoy!
  7. Thanks The B-Wing is one of my favourite ships from the OT. I tried to put as much detail as I could into it, whilst keeping it in minifig scale. Here's a rear shot of the engines. And some closer shots of the weapons pod. A closer shot of the Quadex Kyromaster engine. Rebel bombers on attack run... All my Rebel starfighters.
  8. Thanks for the comments guys I'm really happy the dark red version has turned out so good. Its quite easy to change the colour scheme with only a handful of bricks - I might try yellow or orange next. It is remarkably stable which is what I was aiming for. I'm thinking of posting some construction pics soon.
  9. Hi guys Finally 100% completed my minifig-scale Slayn & Korpil B-Wing (Link) a few weeks ago. It's very swooshable! As promised I have also built a Dagger Squadron B-wing to sit alongside the standard B-Wing. I'm currently working on a Rebel Hangar for all my starfighters and troops. Enjoy! RenegadeClone
  10. I can't express how pleased I am that the new ARC-170 is NOT a Clone Wars set!! Dot-eyes for the pilots - Hurrah!! No stupid anime faces - Hurrah!!
  11. I don't know if anybody noticed but the Imperial Commander (General Veers ?) has a new torso print - it's not the regular Imperial Officer print. It looks like the armour he wears on Hoth.
  12. Hi guys, I've been working on this minifig scale B-wing for a while now. It's now 97% finished. I need to make a Bricklink order to get correct colour pieces. Some elements are drawn from Guybrush and Oceanblue72's great UCS models. The trick is fitting that level of detail into a minifig-scale ship. It's a very stable ship. Not the best photos as they were taken in a hurry. Once it's 100% completed I'll take some quality pics. :D Enjoy! RenegadeClone Brickshelf Gallery
