I tried that, but you then need to put on a 2x2 round plate on the bottom of the 2x2 plate modified with bar. If not the 1x2 clips hit the studs. Then when you attach to 10x10 dish there is a huge gap between the dish and the tiles/tread. If the 10x10 were flat it might work but it doesn't exist.

If you can download the .io file you can export a wanted list. Just remember to double the number of parts.

Yes even without the ones with clips. The last stud on the plate modified 1x2 with clip can be pushed in place to hold out the tread links. I hope that make sense.

You may not want to put those 1x1 round plates. You need that space to let the tread links sit right. Yes it was fun and a challenge.

Made the changes you suggested. I think this is the final revision. The handle bars sit below the ring and the pneumatic t's are just barely sticking out. Aside from the 2 treads on the bottom without a tile, I think it is just right, I'm happy with it. This a been a learning experience, glad you know Studio.io so well.

Well @Vouatch this is how it looks with 32 tread links. It just seems a little to big. I took your suggestion with the additional clips. This only has 31 tread links. Here are also some changes I made. Step by step look:

I will give that shot when I get back. I do agree it does sag in the back, that's why in the front I added 2 1x1 round plates onto the round tiles to keep it from sagging. That too

I finally got the pieces I was missing. I shortened the technic link tread by 1. I also had to add a few parts to keep the tread from sagging. Also made changes to the docking ring wall. You'll notice the dark bluish gray 1x1 plate moves from above the 1x1 brick modified with clip to below it. This allows to attach back the hose nozzle without it hitting on the dish. Thanks @Vouatch for figuring out the design and sharing the LDD and @Lockfor hosting the file for us to all use.

I have the majority of the parts, mainly needed the technic link tread and wedge plates. I’ll post some pics once I put it together unless someone beats me to it. Thanks for the reminder. Before I uploaded the inventory I did double it. Good for every one else to know

Already ordered the parts for this mod. Looking forward to the end of the week now.
