  1. I would but 8258 isn't built at the moment. It is much bigger though in a slightly larger scale and the Unimog is bigger again.
  2. That looks great, I've been experimenting with a similar front end setup recently but haven't had much success with it. Yours looks nice and sturdy with good steering angles too. Looking forward to seeing the body on top, it looks almost 240Z shaped already
  3. It does look good, thanks Terenshi for those close up pics. Would it be possible to swap the 42000 hubs for the older type or are they different sizes and won't fit?
  4. I'd spend some time rebuilding the complete sets you have first to get pictures and listing them as such individually on ebay. The rest I guess, if they're not complete, would maybe have to be sold as a job lot. At a guess it looks like you have a couple each of the 9398 crawler and 8110 Unimogs plus an 8043 and the RC bulldozer, those are worth a fair bit on their own.
  5. The wheels from 8440 Formula Flash might work quite well on there, they're slightly bigger than those from 42009 and 8258 and wider too.
  6. I like the way those tyres deform under load, they're foam filed as well aren't they? Is there a link to where you can get them from in this thread somewhere? I googled for them but they seem to come in a range of sizes and I'm not sure which ones I need.
  7. The one that has confused me the most when talking about both licenced and military sets is the Sopwith Camel 10226. It's quite clearly de-weaponised but is also a rather famous first world war bomber. OK, it's meant for AFOLs more than anyone else but it straddles the line between Legos own principles and is definitely not a fantasy aircraft.
  8. This is more of a tractor than a 4x4 or rock crawler but it would funny anyway.
  9. That chassis is looking nice, are you building a body for it too? It is indeed, I missed the top wishbone but I see it now. I still don't know what car it is, Skyline or Golf? Is it possible to build a setup like this without the Lego wishbones? None of the sets I have come with them as most use fixed or live axles and panhard rods.
  10. They're the 90's Technic Figs, http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=69013
  11. It would work either way, if it's a non-driven steering axle then it would allow the outside wheel to turn faster than the inside and if there is direct drive to a wheel either side of it then it would allow one to turn while the other stays put so it could turn 360 degrees within its own length. If it's just there to connect the axle together then I don't think it'll do much. I guess just wait until he's finished it to see whether or not it works as he wanted it to. On the face of it though it does seem quite clever.
  12. I destroy the boxes, recycle them and store all my Lego in a bespoke case sorted and labelled and the instructions in a folder of their own. But then again I don't ever plan on selling any of it at all. Some of my Technic I've had for over 20 years and will keep it until I have children of my own for them to play with. The boxes hold no value imo, they just take up space so why keep them.
  13. I think that's a standard Macpherson strut set up, what car is it?
