  1. I really like the Stone Protector Leader. The dragon is impressive, but its head is a bit too big IMO. :/ The keetorange doesn't bother me that much, BTW.
  2. Leewan replied to Logan McOwen's post in a topic in LEGO Action Figures
I myself love the wide knees and the overall shape, think I'll build it myself. :D PS : I've resized your pictures, they were over the 800*600 px limit.
  3. I love it ! Makes me want to buy some Mixels.
  4. I bet this "structure" is the Forge.
  5. Sure, Lego did this to make the story easier to understand (and elemental-themed regions exist since forever), but there can be an in-story explanation : IIRC, it's said in The Legend video that the islanders used their masks' powers to shape the island, or something like that. But the theory of an artificial island is interesting. As long as this artificial island doesn't sit on a giant robot's face. And I'm Lewa.
  6. The Toa are the main characters, I doubt we'll get new good guys next year, an upgraded version is more likely. They could gain allies, though. We could get a split wave like in 2008, with three bad guys and three new good guys, and the six Toa for the second wave. And we'll end up with a 3000 pages-long topic in 2017, no thanks. I think it would be better to open a 2016 rumors and discussion topic, although it might be early (on an other hand, this topic was opened thriteen months before the official release date). Brand new boxes and canisters, this is magnificent.
  7. No, TKA is right, I just checked and there's a little gap (but almost unnoticeable, that's why I never saw it before haha) between the shoulder assembly and the torso because these parts touch the balljoints. Here's a more "legal" solution :

  10. I don't think the Toa's Golden Masks come from a different planet / time : we know thanks to the Episode 6 that Ekimu has the ability to speak to the Toa through them, so I guess he forged them on Okoto, and then hid them. But perhaps him and Makuta also come from a different planet / world. They might look like the Protectors, but they seem to have more powers / abilities than them (they're known for making masks of power, and their own masks don't have elemental powers like the islanders' ones do), so they might not be the same species. So it's possible that they arrived on Okoto with the Golden Masks and hid them. It's even possible that he knew the prophecy before he came to Okoto, and that he forged the Golden Masks because he knew the Toa would need them to save the island. But if it's the case, there's a problem : the threat seems to come from Makuta (either directly or indirectly, because the MoUP seems "evil", and it was forged by Makuta), and if Ekimu knew that, why would have he came to Okoto with his brother in the first place ? Think of an army of Protectors of Earth. If it turns out to be true, though, I hope they'll be humanoid, I don't want spider-like baddies for the third consecutive year. But you know, things might drastically change, we're only in March, and they certainly have defined the core concept, but the sets' design is far from being finalized, so I wouldn't worry too much.
  11. Among the photos of dinosaurs which leaked a few months ago, there was a lime green coelophysis, which doesn't appear in any set.
  12. Yes, they usually start to work on a wave approximately a year before the sets get released, and not only in Constraction, but in every theme. That's why sets based on movies aren't always accurate : the designers often have to work with early designs / ideas / concepts which might not be used in the final movie.
  13. Just saw this in the April Store Calendar for the US : I hope other countries will benefit from this offer.

  15. True, but it's not an activity book. That would be nice, but indeed less likely than a Mask of Fire.
  16. Agreed, get Lewa, he's fantastic. I'd rather say Golden Mask of Fire. Or trans-orange. But definitely not something as exclusive as than the Mask of Time, minifigs offered with activity books seem to be quite "common" ones.
  17. Impressive ! Not a huge fan of Chima torso armors, though, because their patterns don't really fit the overall mechanical aesthetics. Do you know how tall is it ?
  18. I found an alternate design which uses Glatorian necks :
  19. Thanks for your comments guys ! BTW, I've just added some scans of the booklet and the sticker sheet to the first post.
  20. If it's Jaller, open it and build it, it's a great set. And his joints are less fragile than lime ones (these are the worse), so I wouldn't worry about them cracking.
  21. Here's a list, lockdownTF.
  22. Each trans-orange armor has an add-on attached to it, so I guess it's supposed to represent the characters' armor, while the trans blue / bright green / neon green represent their actual bodies. The contrast between these colors might be there to emphasize the difference between the armor and the body.
  23. That's an interesting theory. But I rather think that the Mask Makers can "communicate" through the Golden Masks, and that Makuta controls the LoSS with the Golden Skull Spider Mask (the same way as Ekimu speaks to the Toa through their Golden Masks, Makuta would speak to the LoSS through the Golden Skull Spider Mask).
  24. Really cool MOC !
