  1. The first episode will air (in french) tommorow at the BIONIFIGS Convention 4, so we might see it appear on Youtube tommorrow or Sunday.
  2. Perhaps the Golden Mask of the Skull Spiders is the Mask of Control "altered" by the Mask of Ultimate Power.
  3. You're lucky, someone else told me that it would / could be better with three fingers. So I guess I had to do it : I might modify it a bit, I'm not totally satisfied with the design of the part : I find it kinda "ugly". Haha, thank you ! But thanks to your drawing I didn't have to start from scratch, which helped me a lot. x)
  4. Entry name : Sarkhada Entry pic : Additional pics : Short story : Sarkhada is a mysterious robot sent to Okoto to find all the Masks of Power, because its creators fear the power of the Toa. It was first seen near the Temple of Time, which makes some villagers think it comes from the future.
  5. Rayskull's idea : There's room for only two fingers because I think four walls would be too much. Though, I could put two central walls like on my second concept. Or at least something less rounded (especially the front) than the 2.0 foot. BTW, I think the Beasts / Protectors feet are a great replacement for the Bohrok feet, so what we mostly need now is a modern version of the Mata feet.
  6. The sets were bigger, but IIRC, in the story, they were supposed to be the same size as the (2002) Toa Nuva.
  7. Receltly made this using your build : There's more here. :)
  8. You could use this part instead. You'd get rid of the blue, and you can use the hole to properly tie the string.
  9. I don't know who they will be, but I'm pretty sure we'll get bad guys this summer.
  10. Oh, I see. Well, that's a good idea. Though, one could also use black bones and snap #3 tr.neon orange on them. But it would take more space. Don't worry, it was just a joke. ;) And there's Tr. Fluor. Reddish Orange in LDD. It's code is 47, and you can find it between 44 - Tr. Yellow and 49 - Tr. Fluore Green.
  11. Yeah but they're not new moulds. And I think the mirror is just a chromed version of this part.
  12. Interesting. I like the modifications you made to the body, but I'm not too sure about the legs. The technic beams are there for stability, and if you add an articulation, you make the beams useless, which means you could use pure CCBS-based legs instead of technic-based ones. Also, [Aanchir]My main concern about this MOD is that you used the wrong shade of transparent orange. The LoSS set actually uses Tr. Fluor. Reddish Orange, while your MOD uses Tr. Bright Orange, which is incorrect, since these parts were never produced in Tr. Bright Orange (which only appeared once in a constraction set, Jaller Inika, in 2006, by the way).[/Aanchir]
  13. Smithers and Frink ? Yes ! I hope we'll get Moe. I need an army of Moes.
  14. Hum... yeah, why not. I'll try. ;)
  15. I see what you mean, but don't worry, they won't slide more easily than with this part or this one, or even this one. And the previous design (I guess you're talking about this one) was terrible, and didn't allow either to attach a weapon. I might work on it again, but I honestly prefer the latest one.
  16. Something like this ? But there would only be room for two fingers. I like the current solution, where there is room for three (even four with the other axehole) fingers and a thumb.
  17. Hum... I don't know, your thumbs attachments would make the part very wide. Here's a modified version of my original design : There are no more molding problems, and the thumb can be attached to the axehole with these parts. You can use the other axehole and a couple technic parts to attach weapons.
  18. I think we all hope to get gunmetal hands someday. But indeed, dark bley makes more sense, and is easier to use in MOCs, IMO.
  19. From the Detective's Office press release : When the first pics of the box appeared a few days ago, I thought it would use black CCBS hands. Actually, they're dark bley. Yes. Dark bley. Today's a glorious day my friends.
  20. Now that's interesting... I'd be glad to hear more. Anyways, I don't think I like the idea of a Scooby Doo license. I was a big fan of What's New Scooby Doo when I was a kid, and I'd love a Lego Mystery Machine, but besides that, I don't see the point of the license.
  21. Won't the back armor limit the head movement ? Anyways, that's an interesting solution. I initially thought the Protector of Fire was built that way (i.e. with this connector instead of this one). Also, if you want something even more compact, you could try to rotate the Hordika necks by 90°. You would get something like this : Basically a mix between the Protector of Fire and the Protector of Earth (it's actually one stud narrower than the Protector of Earth's design). :)

You can directly post pics from flickr, or post a link to your gallery. ;) EDIT : Well, Bob was faster than me.
  23. The torso design is interesting, but the color scheme is indeed poorly executed. Perhaps it could be better with trans orange bones and red or silver shells. Anyways, he definitely lacks red. But I can understand that the designers wanted to use the trans orange parts that appeared in this year's Chima sets, though.
