  1. And the new dual-colored legs and arms.
  2. Extremly difficult ? Why ? It would be like building with actual parts, I don't see the difficulty. BTW, can we use parts in colors that don't exist yet in LDD ? I mean, can we use 2015 recolors (like the dark orange shells, or the tr. purple bones) in our LDD MOCs ?
  3. Thanks Aanchir ! I think I could slightly improve the aesthetic, though. True, this isn't something I thought of when I designed the part because it's more of a 3D sketch / concept than a final product.
  4. I worked a bit on a new part that could be used for hands with articulated fingers, and came up with this : The center of the rods are 8mm (1 stud) apart. The main problem is the axehole, because it makes the part bigger, but is needed to hold a weapon, or anything. I could try to put an axehole between the fingers, but then I would have to set the rods at least two studs apart, and it would be too wide.
  5. Wasn't the T-Rex from JP1 more green/grey-ish ?

I think it's one of your best MOCs. I really like the lower legs and the feet. The head is a great design too.
  7. Entry name : Taarun, Master of Lightning Entry pic : Additional pics : https://www.flickr.c...57649320889905/ Short story : Taarun is an old enemy of the Toa, and came to Okoto to find the Mask of Creation to conquer the island.
  8. The part number on brickset is the same as the one stated on the box, so I doubt it includes extra parts. Though, it might include the parts needed for the alt/combi model.
  9. I think it's this part, it appears to be dark bley because of the shadow. I think my entry is complete, but LDD tells me I use 137 parts (without the PB motor), which means I have ten missing parts, but I don't know what or where they could be.
  10. Yup, Pohatu looks terrible with his reversed gearbox : I myself like the LoSS. It looks like an awesome parts pack, and the building looks interesting enough to me.
  11. You're right about the new 3L axle / pin : (source)
  12. But don't they get their data directly from Lego ? And if it's an error, where does it's element number come from ?
  13. Sad ? It's not sad, it's a great news, it means we still have a chance to win.
  14. Yeah, according to Brickset, some summer sets have it in black, but I've never seen any picture of it, and the few summer sets I own have the dark bley ones. BTW, speaking of colors, we really need dark metal and golden hands.

I think the head is too big, but the torso structure is clever.
  16. Only this part (and this one, but it's not on the MOC). But I was actually talking about these parts (EDIT and there's also this part used on the upper leg), which never appeared in any set before.
  17. It's more related to the BFTGM contest, but Lego recently posted this on Facebook, to inspire people. And I really hope those beautiful Trans Neon Orange bones will appear in a set soon. BTW, some 3M bones rather appear to be Trans Orange (like Jaller Inika), but it's certainly due to the lighting.
  18. I like the idea of a set with protector-sized Ekimu and Makuta (with the MoCo, as depicted in the video), and another set with a bigger, corrupted Makuta (wearing the MoUP this time). Though, I don't see the need of a black MoCo, or a bigger Ekimu set : as far as we know, Ekimu never changed size or shape like Makuta did (because he never wore the MoUP) and remained the same protector-sized mask maker when he fell asleep.
  19. Thanks, glad you like it ! It's no surprise that a cardboard box is more likely to be damaged than a flexible pouch when shipped in a padded envelope, and I think it has nothing to do with the packaging itself, but rather the shipment method. Plus, it's not specific to BIONICLE boxes.
  20. The gearbox makes it impossible, unless I attach it one stud higher, but I fear it would be too high : the shoulders are currently aligned with the neck, so if I rise the gearbox, the shoulders will sit higher than the neck. And it might cause problems to attach the head : the eyepiece wouldn't fit. But they still could choose not to put an eyepiece, though. But I find it unlikely. Or they could use a 3M bone just like on Onua.
