  1. Yet that's the whole point of CCBS. Oh yeah, I think I know what you're talking about ! Could it be this picture ? It's not what I would call a nice render, but it fits your description. Anyways guys, perhaps this topic would be more appropriate for such a discussion.
  2. Really, we did ? I don't even remember it... But I know Aanchir did post a concept for an articulated torso, which showed a part that Front said it wouldn't work properly because of a too important deformation.
  3. Absolutely, Kaita was just a supposition I made after we learnt that there would still be combiners. BTW, I'm sure if we don't get official Kaita a lot of people will MOC their own G2 Kaita. That could be fun for a contest.
  4. So powerful it doesn't even need legs. "'Tis but a scratch !"
  5. Oh, I just noticed that almost each letter of the BIONICLE logo have the same symbols as the Mask of Creation : (you can click for full size) I wonder if these symbols have any meaning or if they are just decorations.
  6. I'm pretty sure it's "regular" webbing and has nothing to do with the Visorak.
  7. Nice, threre are some good ideas, and some of your MOCs are truly impressive. I especially like Flyer Beast, Splitter Beast, Tunneler Beast, King Beast, and the XL Mech. I like the Freezer Machine too.
  8. Well, I hope so. Anyways, I'll try with my own parts on the next weekend.
  9. Nylon strings, not powder. The material may be the same, but the structure is totally different, 3D printed parts are "porous". Water might seep in the parts.
  10. I think it's because of your model's polygons. Have you ever tried printed nylon parts in water ? Isn't there any risk ?
  11. I don't know if it has already been mentionned, but do we know if the golden Skull Mask in the LoSS set is a Mask of Power ? Also, I think I know how the Protectors are made (though I'm not too sure about the Fire Protector, but I think I'm half right about him) :
  12. At least you'll get them before January.
  13. Thank you ! That's a very nice PDF, good job ! I don't know if I'll build it, though, I need to buy Spikels first to build this MOC a friend of mine made.
  14. Yeah, it's easy to miss, I noticed it on Kopaka's top view, and then I saw on Pohatu's back view a 8t gear. Which means it's gonna be like that :
  15. It's a single new part, and it will look like this : Yes, I was bored last night.
  16. There's a problem with your link.
  17. So that's why Lewa's arms are so long... And Pohatu's hover-boomerangs... that's hilarious. So ridiculously awesome.
  18. This is the kind of MOC that makes me want to buy Mixels. Good job Bacem, and good luck for the contest. Do you have detailed pictures of the body structure ? I'm really curious about how it's built.
  19. Good news, it looks like this part is going to be in some Friends and Elves sets next year.
  20. It looks too flat, I'll post a render tomorrow, I think. And there's a 1 stud offset between the door and the column, it doesn't really look good. I could've kept a constant width, but then it would have been too "squarish", like the Expert Mini Cooper.
  21. Thank you guys. I don't know either, but I see what you mean. But I don't know any alternative, unfortunately. I don't know, it seems wide enough to me. And according to Sariel's scaler, the dimensions are accurate (at least as much as possible).
  22. The MOC is finally finished, and it might not be the best 2CV that can be done, but it's the best I can do right now. I'm aware some improvements need to be done, but I'm overall happy with the final result. Perhaps one day I will build it with actual bricks, and find a way to improve the MOC. It features opening front doors, opening boot, steering on the front axle and suspension on the rear axle. It's made of 641 parts. Here are some renders : There's more on flickr. I can share the .lxf if anyone's interested.
  23. I like stickers better, because you can choose not to apply them. BTW, I hope Kopaka's thighs armors are stickered and not printed, because even if there is still the possibility to remove the printing, I'd prefer plain armors, they are easier to use in MOCs.
