  1. I've built this model last week, and it's a very fun model to play with. I might even like it better than the crane.
  2. Very impressive ! I'm just not sure about these parts on the sides, don't they limit the arms' poseability ?
  3. Well done, it's much better that way, IMO. Also, I see that you found a way to "recycle" your expensive bat-wings.
  4. Nice, I like how you covered the back, that's a smart idea. I like the MOC better without the windscreen. And I think teen pop would be a terrible weapon against every evil mastermind (and Beasts too, ofc). I agree. Which makes me think... have you tried to replace the trans-dark blue by orange ? It would be more faithful to his original color scheme (but that's a personal preference, I like orange and black better than blue and black ^^). Also, why silver hands ? Did you run out of black ones ?
  5. Great review Jim, your pics are absolutely stunning ! This beautiful set will certainly be my Christmas or birthday gift. :D

I checked, and most of the Series 2 Mixels are out of stock in France. Maybe you have the same issue in the Netherlands.
  7. I spot a Superheroes chest on the lavasurfer's boxart, and I tend to think that this kind of torso fits better "tall" characters.
  8. It's funny that you say that, because earlier today, I've built a "2014 Tahu", based on the picture we have, and on how I think Tahu could look like if he were released nowadays : The flame sword is more of a wish, I'd say he's more likely to have a 2013 HF sword. At least that's what I see when I look at the picture.
  9. Yeah, this solution isn't the smartest, so I reworked it a bit : I got rid of all the unnecessary SNOT, and used a Bar 6L going all the way through the arm to strengthen the structure (and attach the SNOTted bowl part). Now it shouldn't be less stable than the original solution.
  10. A six-legged Visorak ? I doubt it. Well, SW has a great advantage over Bionicle : OMG AWESOME TOTALLY NEW AND SUPER DETAILED MINIFIGS. Just like the Super Heroes theme. That's why they're popular. Yes, but HF can't have minifigs forever (unless 2014 is it's final year hahaha). Anyways, I'd also love to see Kanohi packs return, especially since small bagged sets seem to be popular nowadays (CMFs, Mixels, Friends animals series for Lego). And since I never had the chance to get any of those bags when I was a kid, if they do that again in 2015, I'd definitely buy a whole box. P.S. : Sweet, I'm a knight now !
  11. According to bricklink, the barrels appeared only twice in light bley in 2004, and once in old light grey, in the first UCS X-Wing (so no need to tell you how expensive they are). I figured out a more "modern" alternative (which still makes use of dark bley parts, but it'll be anyways impossible to totally get rid of it without heavy modding), though : About the set itself, I really like it. I was a bit afraid when I saw the teaser pictures, but now I'm sure I will buy it as soon as it's available. It's indeed different from Peter Reid's MOC, which doesn't mean it's worse. I feel the cockpit area could be a bit more detailed, but beside that I love it.
  12. Nice ! The scene is good, the figs are great, and the renders are beautiful. I think your Tardis is a bit too simple, but the rest is perfect.
  13. Oh yeah, Leoraph Donmike is great. Nice MOCs, WARHEAD, very creative.
  14. I see something that looks like a Piraka and Kiina.
  15. Greg's Q&A topic on Lego's board, probably. EDIT : Here's a link to the topic.
  16. Man, that would be an awesome story : Tahu goes on a quest to find the most powerful Kanohi ever to defeat the Great Beings who want to destroy MU's inhabitants : the dreadful Kanohi Cage. More seriously, the fact that it was photoshopped doesn't necessarily means that it's a fake. It can be an early and quickly made version of a prototype display, just to show how it would look like.
  17. Check your PMs guys. ;) Also, the B and I letters on the logo remind me of the The Hobbit logo.
  18. I know the struggle... Actually, the rear legs are nice, but the front ones are really skeletal, I don't think it's in any way related to the rider. You could maybe beef up the shoulders with these (or even the Breakout variant). And then replace the #6 black armors with the #8 armors.
  19. Now that would be a great option. Especially since we might not get Chima Ultrabuilds next year (LoC was intended to last three years, and next year will be Chima's third year), that leaves room for a second theme. Well, Front more or less confirmed that CCBS would stay around for a couple of years (" CCBS is not going anywhere. Balls are the new black."), so I think we don't have to worry.
  20. That's... interesting, even if I don't want to believe it. I quite like HF, and I don't want Lego to end it and give us a cheap new Bionicle. If it comes back, it has to worth it. But I think that as long as CCBS stays, I'll be happy.
  21. The head is reaaaally creepy. And the legs are a bit too thin, IMO. But the MOC, overall, isn't bad.

That's some awesome stuff ! Fuerza is indeed a grat MOC. Congrats, Lord Oblivion.

These page are from a retailer catalogue, I saw them in a local toy store back in September 2009 (the lady even told me that it would be BIONICLE's last wave, and I didn't believe her ). Beside the characters, the canisters were slightly different, they all had a golden or yellow lid.
  24. It's obviously a render. EDIT : Ninja'd.
  25. Leewan replied to WARHEAD's post in a topic in LEGO Action Figures
Awesome mix of System and CCBS, WARHEAD ! I especially like the arms and the upper torso, its shaping is very nicely done. I don't really like all those rounded parts on the legs, but it's just a matter of personal taste, you still nailed them. ;)
