Yeah, I saw that with the purple spikes, but my main concern is that the technic pin which holds the neck is only pushed halfway through the hole.

Oh, I see. Thanks ! This assembly seems a bit weak, though. x/
  3. Oh, I see. That's a good idea, well done ! And the wings are indeed expensive.
  4. I agree, Scorm is my favorite. Braptor is very good too, even if his head is a bit weird (but the other two are better ). Where are the Chi zamor spheres from ?

That's an interesting concept. How is the neck attached ?
  6. And on the contrary, some sets considered by fans and marketed by Lego as UCS don't have the UCS mention written on the box. But I don't want to define which sets are UCS and which ones are not, I'm pretty sure many others tried that before me, and such a debate doesn't interest me. My initial point was to say that unless they are designed at minifig scale, UCS sets shouldn't have minifigs, and I hope the Slave I will be properly scaled, if it's gonna have a minifig.
  7. These sets, like the Death Star 10188, are more like big playsets than collector items. They are meant to be played with, while UCS ships, like the X-Wings, the TIE Advanced, the Delta-7 JSF, or even "statues", like General Grievous and R2-D2, are meant to be displayed, so minifigs in such sets are useless (and out of scale, like in the Executor). So yeah, Ewok Village and Sandcrawler are exclusive and massive sets, indeed, but does that make them UCS ? I don't think so. But that's just my opinion. ;)
  8. Maybe, but minifigs aren't supposed to be a main element in a UCS set. They are not even supposed to be in a UCS set, I think that's what THeLegoDr meant. I'm pretty sure most of the AFOLs get their sets only for the minifigs, but when it comes to UCS sets, the main part of the set is the ship. As long as this new Slave I is a genuine Ultimate Slave I, I don't really care whether the minifig is new or if it's the same from another set. UCS is not about selling new minifigs, the regular sets are already very good at it.
  9. Woah, pig, you're a really talented character builder, no matter the style or the size. Mark "Gingerbeard" Haystett kinda reminds me of Jamie Hyneman.
  10. Bought Fangar today, I really like him, but he's really lean, even if he's supposed to be an ice zombie. But nothing some modifications can't fix. :D
  11. Thanks for the review, VBBN. I really like the set, the tripod concept works much better than on Evo's Walker (well, it was a smaller set, so I guess it's not that fair to compare them), and the claw function seems fun. I think it should be possible to add a technic beam and, with a rubber band, create a "trigger". Something like this, maybe :
  12. Thanks for the review. The Queen looks better than I expected, and Evo's machine is so cute and lovely with its six tiny legs. But I don't think I'll buy it, it will certainly be 35€, which seems a bit much for my wallet...
  13. Thanks for the review ! The concept is nice, but I think the execution lacks because of the parts limitation. If they were allowed to give some more parts to the set, I think it would have been much better. I also think that with some modifications, it could become awesome, the comic version looks great and really menacing (well, at least on the fourth pane). I was gladly surprised by the swapping function. I think it's a welcome touch. Batman, actually.
  14. Thanks for your feedback guys. Yes, that's what I'm the most excited about, now that I have a ball-cup, I'll be able to create a wider ranger of parts. I might try to create a piece similar to this, I tried several months ago, but I didn't really like it.
  15. *bump* Heh, I said there would be pictures almost five months ago, ahd there's still nothing... But I'll post them... one day. But right now, there's something else I want to show you : It still needs to be improved, but overall I'm happy with it, especially since it's the first time I design a part with a ball-cup.

You have an excellent MOCcing style, pig. The colors are well chosen, you use brillant techniques, and the subject is original, it's rare to see human beings built in a Constraction form. The only bit I don't really like is the shoes, I think they are supposed to have heels, but it look a bit weird.
  17. Cragster max is very good, I like its overall shape. Electroid is a bit weirder, all the curved slopes on the body make it look kinda goofy. x/

The problem with your idea, Takanuinuva, is that the Flick Fire Missile sticks out of the paw. But it's still a nice idea. Aanchir's solution, though, is simpler.
  19. I don't know much about stop motion, so I can't really tell, but I'd say that it mostly depend on you, and if you're satisifed with your animations, and if you think they're worth the effort, then I think you should go on.
  20. Oh, this new part is big ! I didn't realize it on official and review pics.
  21. I saw it on Youtube yesterday, that's not bad. I think it's the first time I see someone using LDD to make a stop motion, that's an interesting idea.

Thank you, TheOneVeyronian. LDD2POV-Ray and POV-Ray. In the Outlines tab I set the Level of detail to crease edges + silhouette, and in the Rendering tab, I set the Quality to quick colors, full ambient lights only (which is, the lowest quality available). And voilà ! Plus, with such settings, it takes a few seconds to achieve the render.
  23. Yeah, I think it's better that way, it's not as well armoured as before, but it's not bad. I think the back / tail area would be better with only this part. At least it would be more consistent, even if I understand that Pyrox / Furno's part sticks better to a fire-themed character.

Your last link, TheOneVeyronian, doesn't work, it gives the address of a file on your computer, I think. I bought Seismo, Volecto and Gobba last week, I just built a Mix with Volecto and Seismo (right now I can't take proper pictures, so you'll get a render instead) : He slightly reminds me of Mike Wazowski, from Monsters Inc.
  25. Aren't HF sets due to be released in August ? Anyways, wait for the reviews. I'm sure VBBN will post reviews of the new wave a couple of days / weeks before the official release date.
